Douglas Smith has landed a role on Big Little Lies season two.

The Alienist actor will play the character of Corey Brockfield, “an off-beat surfer, aspiring marine biologist and Jane’s (Shailene Woodley) co-worker,” Deadline reports.

Returning to the cast this season are Shailene as Jane, Nicole Kidman as Celeste Wright, Reese Witherspoon as Madeline Martha Mackenzie, Adam Scott as Ed MacKenzie, Laura Dern as Renata Klein and Zoë Kravitz as Bonnie Carlson. Also joining the cast for the highly anticipated second season is Meryl Streep joins Season 2 as Mary Louise Wright.

No release date has been set just yet.

Daniel Bruhl, Dakota Fanning, and Luke Evans joined forces at the premiere of their new series The Alienist!

The trio stepped out for the event at Paramount Studios on Thursday (January 11) in Los Angeles.

Daniel and Luke suited up, while Dakota stunned in a sleeveless bold red dress.

They were joined by their co-stars Q’orianka Kilcher, Jackson Gann, Emanuela Postacchin, Brian Geraghty, Robert Wom, Matt Lintz, Matthew Shear, Douglas Smith, and director Jakob Verbruggen.

TV personality DeMario Jackson, Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris, and Animal Kingdom‘s Jake Weary also stepped out to show their support.

Earlier in the day, Luke, Dakota, and Daniel also spoke on stage during the TNT portion of the 2018 Winter TCA Press Tour at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif.

Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario are all dressed up while attending a screening of their latest film Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters at The Americana at Brand on Wednesday (July 31) in Glendale, Calif.

The 21-year-old actor and the 27-year-old actress were joined on the red carpet by their co-stars Leven Rambin, Douglas Smith, and Brandon T. Jackson.

The day before, Logan and Alexandra promoted the flick at Apple Store Soho in New York City.

“It’s super cool to see how it ends up looking. Even though I know the story and I know what the plot is and I know what the characters do, I don’t know what it’s all going to look like. So there are surprises for me when I watch the movie, and that’s pretty cool,” Alexandra recently told Huffington Post about working with a green screen for the movie.

Everwood alum Gregory Smith attends Bill Maher and the Best of HuffPost Comedy on Wednesday (February 23) at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 27-year-old actor’s younger brother, Big Love‘s Douglas Smith, also came out for the event, which was presented by The Huffington Post and its co-founder Arianna Huffington.

Arianna warmed up the crowd highlighting some of the HuffPost’s viral videos, before Bill hit the stage.
