Doutzen Kroes looks stunning on the cover of Fashion Magazine, on stands April 17th.

Here’s what the 33-year-old model had to share with the mag:

On today’s fashion industry: “When I started out, the [fashion] industry was more playful and not as calculated. Now, because of social media, everyone knows everything—there are all these 15-year-old girls who know all the big photographers and fashion designers. [When I started] I had no idea: I was a naive girl who barely spoke English. Being shy didn’t help, so I basically said nothing all day. I was homesick a lot, but, step by step, I grew into it.”

On becoming the face of the Elephant Crisis’ new campaign: “[The Elephant Crisis Fund] probably knew that if they sent me [to The Samburu National Reserve in 2016], I could become their global ambassador…I love all animals, of course, but it was devastating to hear about the [elephant] crisis.”

On why she is raising her children in Holland: “[My husband and I] we’re both Dutch, so it’s nice to have the kids grow up with family around them. They’re our link to the future, and I want them to live in a great world.”

The 34-year-old Black Panther star and Naomi, 47, were joined at the event by Lindsay Lohan, Doutzen Kroes, Kate Moss, Jodie Harsh, and Mert Alas himself who was accompanied by his photographer collaborator Marcus Piggott.

The evening before, Lindsay was spotted keeping it cool and casual while attending the finale of The Box’s 7th Birthday with lovebullets in partnership with Belvedere Vodka at The Box.

Coco Rocha stepped out with her baby bump during New York Fashion Week!

The 29-year-old pregnant model sat front row at Jason Wu‘s fashion show on Friday (February 9) at Gallery I at Spring Studios in New York City.

Coco was joined by her longtime friend Doutzen Kroes while she showed off her growing baby bump.

“2000′s models forever,” Coco captioned a photo of the duo on her Instagram.

Other atendees at the event included Zosia Mamet, Larsen Thompson, Virginia Gardner, Whoopi Goldberg and Olivia Palermo.

Kendall Jenner put her chic street style on display while out and about during New York Fashion Week!

The 22-year-old model stepped out in an oversized knitted sweater on Friday (February 9) in New York City.

She paired the comfy top with brown tights, black flats, and thin brown shades.

Her pal Hailey Baldwin also stepped out in an off-the-shoulder black sweater, metallic gold pants, and metallic grey pumps, accessorizing with gold statement jewelry and oversized shades.

Their fellow model Kaia Gerber was spotted taking a break between shows as well, looking gorgeous in a colorful floral ensemble.

Kendall, Hailey, Doutzen Kroes, and Joan Smalls also enjoyed a girls’ night out the night before, rocking new looks as they dined at Cipriani.

The 57-year-old Crazy, Stupid, Love actress hit the carpet at the event held during New York Fashion Week on Thursday (February 8) at Park Avenue Armory in New York City.

She was joined by her husband Bart Freundlich, as well as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who looked glam in a light pink gown and jacket, and Elizabeth Banks, who rocked a one-shoulder black dress.

Doutzen was last spotted joining Ryan Reynolds at Piaget‘s launch dinner held at the Country Club during the 2018 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.

The 41-year-old Deadpool star was joined at the event by brand ambassador Doutzen Kroes, Coco Rocha, Barbara Palvin and Shanina Shaik at the event celebrating its new global brand campaign starring Doutzen.

Earlier in the day, Ryan and Doutzen visited the Piaget booth along with Nouri. The new campaign, set in a summery Ibiza, has been photographed by Mert & Marcus.

Doutzen wears Piaget watches and haute joaillerie, including the company’s stacked gold Possession bangles, Limelight Gala watches, and jewellery from the Sunlight line.
