Kerry Washington and Cynthia Erivo are looking stylish.

The American Son and Harriet actresses were both in attendance at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and The Hollywood Reporter Party on Saturday night (September 7) during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

Cynthia‘s co-star, Leslie Odom Jr., was also in attendance at the event.

Motherless Brooklyn stars Edward Norton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Willem Dafoe partied the night away, as well as Dolor y gloria (Pain & Glory) actor Antonio Banderas and Schitt’s Creek star Daniel Levy.

Just Mercy star Jamie Foxx, who’s worked with Kerry in the past, was seen posing for pictures and partying with the actress.

Kerry also attended the AT&T On Location lounge earlier in the day, which features the Central Perk couch from to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Friends premiere.

Edward Norton is joined by co-stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Willem Dafoe at the world premiere of their movie Motherless Brooklyn on Friday (August 30) in Telluride, Col.

The 50-year-old actor also wrote and directed the new movie and brought it to the 2019 Telluride Film Festival for its world premiere.

Edward first pitched the project 20 years ago and it was a long road to getting it made!

“I want to thank Warner Bros. We made this film independently and Warners took an enormous leap with us and have been just stupendous in supporting us , getting into festivals and getting it out. In particular my friend Toby Emmerich who has patiently waited for this film for 20 years,” he said at the premiere (via Deadline).

The movie, which hits theaters on November 1, was also directed and written by Edward, from the novel by Jonathan Letham.

Bruce Willis, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Michael Kenneth Williams, Leslie Mann, Ethan Suplee, Dallas Roberts, Josh Pais, Robert Ray Wisdom, Fisher Stevens, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe also star in the film.

Here’s a plot summary: set against the backdrop of 1950s New York, the movie follows Lionel Essrog (Norton), a lonely private detective living with Tourette Syndrome, as he ventures to solve the murder of his mentor and only friend, Frank Minna (Willis). Armed only with a few clues and the engine of his obsessive mind, Lionel unravels closely-guarded secrets that hold the fate of the whole city in the balance. In a mystery that carries him from gin-soaked jazz clubs in Harlem to the hard-edged slums of Brooklyn and, finally, into the gilded halls of New York’s power brokers, Lionel contends with thugs, corruption and the most dangerous man in the city to honor his friend and save the woman who might be his own salvation.

Edward Norton gets in some exercise while running around town during a family vacation over the weekend on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

The 49-year-old actor was joined by his wife Shauna Robertson and other family members while enjoying the beautiful weather in Italy. They were seen paddle boarding on the Tyrrhenian Sea and walking around town.

Next up for Edward Norton is the release of his movie Motherless Brooklyn, which he stars in and also directed. The movie hits theaters on November 1.

The 49-year-old actor was joined at the event by Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann, Martha Stewart, Christie Brinkley and producer Michael Bloomberg at the screening hosted by Bloomberg Philanthropies and RadicalMedia with National Geographic Films.

Paris to Pittsburgh brings to life the impassioned efforts of individuals who are battling the most severe threats of climate change in their own backyards. Set against the national debate over the United States’ energy future, the film captures what’s at stake for communities around the country – and the inspiring ways Americans are responding.

Leonardo DiCaprio speaks on stage at his 20th Anniversary Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala at Jackson Park Ranch on Saturday night (September 15) in Santa Rosa, Calif.

There were many celebrity guests at the event including Naomi Campbell, Mark Ruffalo, Edward Norton, Christine Evangelista, Jessica Szohr, Chace Crawford, Leonardo‘s mom Irmelin, and more. Chris Martin of Coldplay gave a special performance at the event and performed the Titanic classic “My Heart Will Go On.”

The event went to raise funds towards various global environmental efforts to address climate change and protect biodiversity. The event was co-hosted by Leonardo and Emerson Collective founder and president Laurene Powell.

Julia Jackson, a second-generation proprietor of Jackson Family Wines and an environmental philanthropist, served as an event co-chair and also spoke at the event. Jackson Family Wines also has a partnership with Leo‘s foundation.

“When I founded LDF 20 years ago, I did so based on the simple idea that we could make a real difference by directly funding some of the most effective environmental projects – whether it be individuals, grassroots movements or major nonprofits, we wanted to focus on getting critical funding to those who could have the greatest impact,” Leonardo said. “We are extremely proud to celebrate 20 years of this model.
