Elon Musk says there’s a reason he hasn’t set a firm date to fight fellow tech billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg: his back.
The 52-year-old SpaceX CEO, who took over Twitter and rebranded it as “X,” previously confirmed that he’d be fighting the 39-year-old Meta billionaire, promising to his followers on Sunday (August 6) that it would be live-streaming on X.
Now, he’s slightly changing his tune.

Elon Musk is claiming that the smackdown between himself and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is real and happening.
The two have been rumored to be preparing for a mixed martial arts cage match in Las Vegas, and the 52-year-old SpaceX CEO and current owner of X (formerly known as Twitter) says it will be live-streamed on his social media platform.
“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” he said in a post on X early on Sunday morning (August 6), without giving any further details.

Talulah Riley is engaged to Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Elon Musk is reaching out to react to the news.
If you were unaware, Elon and Talulah were married twice, first from 2010 to 2012 and again from 2013 to 2016 before they ultimately went their separate ways.
She and Thomas went public with their relationship years later in 2022. They met on the set of their show Pistol.
On Thursday (July 27), Talulah took to social media to share a happy update about her relationship, sparking a response from Elon.

However, it originally belonged to someone else.
Gene X. Hwang, co-founder of event photo company Orange Photography and the person who originally registered the @x handle over 16 years ago, revealed to Mashable that Elon and the company took the handle over.

Twitter is officially being rebranded as X and the logo has now changed on the website.
The company’s new owner Elon Musk announced the change over the weekend and now the logo has been added to the desktop website, though it doesn’t appear to be visible on the mobile app just yet.
Amid Elon‘s recent threat to sue Mark Zuckerberg for “cheating” with Meta’s new app Threads, it looks like Mark may have a case against Elon now.

Elon Musk is making yet another change to his social media platform.
The 52-year-old Twitter owner confirmed that the company’s name and logo is changing to simply “X” as of Sunday (June 23).
“http://X.com now points to https://twitter.com/. Interim X logo goes live later today,” he wrote on the platform, before teasing the new logo in a short video.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” he also tweeted.
