The CW has just announced that they are renewing Kristin Kreuk‘s Beauty and the Beast as well as Rachel Bilson and Jaime King‘s Hart of Dixie for an additional season!

The CW had already announced the shows returning including Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Arrow and Reign.

In addition to this announcement, the CW also picked up some new series including The Flash, Jane the Virgin, iZombie, and The Messengers!

Unfortunately, The Tomorrow People, The Carrie Diaries, and Star-Crossed were all reportedly cancelled.

Later in the day, the 24-year-old actor flashed into costume and showed off his superhero moves as he jumped and leaped through the air.

Check out this first image of Grant Gustin as The Flash from the brand new upcoming CW show The Flash.

The 24-year-old actor stars as Barry Allen/The Flash in the show about the scientist who is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive.

The costume for The Flash was designed by three-time Oscar winner Colleen Atwood. We can’t wait to get a full view look at the costume!

In case you didn’t know, Grant previously guest starred on Arrow as Barry Allen.

Production on The Flash begins next week.
