The full star-studded cast of season two for Amazon’s Modern Love was just announced and it includes some pretty big names.

Variety reports that Kit Harington, Anna Paquin, and Garrett Hedlund have joined the series.

The news comes just after both Kit and Garrett welcomed their first children.

Gbenga Akinnagbe, Susan Blackwell, Lucy Boynton, Tom Burke, Zoe Chao, Maria Dizzia, Grace Edwards, Dominique Fishback, Kathryn Gallagher, Telci Huynh, Nikki M. James, Aparna Nancherla, Larry Owens, Zane Pais, Isaac Powell, Ben Rappaport, Milan Ray, Jack Reynor, Miranda Richardson, Marquis Rodriguez, James Scully, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Lulu Wilson, Don Wycherley, and Jeena Yi will also star.

Minnie Driver‘s involvement in the show was announced last week.

“We’re so excited to bring a second season of this series to life, and give an opportunity to really shine a light on what matters most,” showrunner John Carney said in a statement. “With so much uncertainty in our current world, these stories bring truth and love to people everywhere, and I’m so appreciative to be a part of making that happen.”

Modern Love is an anthology series explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, as well as its effects on the human connection. Each episode brings to life a different story that has been inspired by The New York Times‘ popular Modern Love column.

Garrett Hedlund revealed something surprising!

The 36-year-old actor made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Friday (February 19).

During his appearance, he revealed that he and Emma Roberts chose country star Tim McGraw to be the godfather of their newborn son Rhodes.

He explained that he looks up to the singer, whom he has worked with on movies like 2004′s Friday Night Lights and 2010′s Country Strong.

“He’s somebody that I admire and respect, not only as an amazing father and an amazing husband, amazing musician and amazing actor…I’ve known him for a long time,” Garrett said.

“We laugh about it because it’s probably been over 17 years since we did Friday Night Lights together, we played father and son. So I got to first experience him as a father — in that film, somewhat more of an abusive one — but then we did Country Strong together, and we’ve remained such close friends and, you know, I’ve seen his children, his daughters, from the time they were 1, 3 and 5,” he went on to say.

Emma Roberts is giving fans their first glimpse of her newborn baby boy!

The 29-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday (January 25) to share a new photo of her cuddling her son Rhodes while reading a book.

“Rhodes meet Joan 💫 @belletrist,” Emma captioned the photo, in which she is reading the book “Let Me Tell You What I Mean” by legendary writer Joan Didion.

A bunch of Emma‘s celeb friends left comments on the photo, including Ashley Tisdale, Nikki Reed, Aly and AJ, and Stassi Schroeder.

Emma and her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund welcomed their son into the world on December 27 and he weighed in at around 9 lbs. This is the first child for them both!

Andra Day hesitates in singing a song on stage as police officers wait to arrest her in the trailer for Hulu’s upcoming movie, The United States vs. Billie Holiday.

The upcoming movie, from Lee Daniels, will center on Billie’s life when she was the target of the FBI, as they attempted to derail her career.

If you’re unfamiliar, the FBI claims that they first targeted the prolific singer because of her history with substance abuse. However, the real reason was the true stories behind her songs, including “Strange Fruit”.

Lee said of casting Andra in the role, which is her first on-screen role ever, that many wanted him to cast Andra, but he says, “I don’t like being pressured into anything.”

But, he added, “she was enchanting and she did embody the spirit of Billie. I sent her to an acting coach because she had not acted before. And the acting coach, on the fly, turned her iPhone on and showed me her prepping and getting into character. Just from that 30 seconds of video footage, I saw Billie Holiday without question. The game was up. There was no acting. There was just being.”

Also starring Trevante Rhodes, Garrett Hedlund and Natasha Lyonne, The United States vs. Billie Holiday will debut on February 26 on Hulu.

The 29-year-old actress and her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, 36, have welcomed their first child into the world, according to TMZ.

The outlet says that Emma gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday (December 27) in Los Angeles. The couple reportedly decided to name their son Rhodes and he “weighed in right around 9 lbs.”

This is the first child for both Emma and Garrett. They started dating in 2019 after she ended her engagement to longtime love Evan Peters.

The latest photos we have of Emma are from last week, when she was spotted with a large baby bump while stopping by a grocery store.

Garrett Hedlund was arrested back in January of 2020 for a DUI and his rep has confirmed that he immediately sought treatment.

“When the incident occurred, Garrett immediately sought treatment which was successful,” the 36-year-old actor’s rep told Just Jared in a statement. “Today, he is in a solid and great place.”

He was arrested on two DUI charges and his blood alcohol level was at .36% which is four times the legal limit of .08. He posted $100,000 bail after his arrest, Us Weekly reports.

According to the magazine, Garrett entered a plea deal to “complete a 30-day residential treatment program and a nine-month first-offender alcohol and drug education counseling program,” the legal records state. He was put on 36 months of probation and will be required to attend 30 AA meetings and do 100 hours of community service.

Garrett and his girlfriend Emma Roberts are currently expecting a baby boy. Their romance was first confirmed in April of 2019.

The 29-year-old pregnant actress covered her growing baby bump with a flowy white top and held onto her classic black purse as she and boyfriend, Garrett Hedlund, wrapped up their get together and left with a box of treats for their home.

Earlier in the day, while en route to their meeting, Garrett was seen lending a helping hand after witnessing a motorcycle accident.

Garrett was able to call for help as others came to check on the injured motorcyclist and get him medical assistance.
