The cast of the new Peacock series Bel-Air stepped out to celebrate at a premiere party last night!

Jabari Banks and his co-stars posed for photos at a drive-thru screening experience at the Barker Hangar on Wednesday (February 9) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Set in modern-day America, Peacock’s new one-hour drama series Bel-Air imagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.

Jabari, who plays Will, was joined at the event by co-stars Adrian Holmes (Phillip Banks), Cassandra Freeman (Vivian Banks), Olly Sholotan (Carlton Banks), Coco Jones (Hilary Banks), Akira Akbar (Ashley Banks), Jimmy Akingbola (Geoffrey), Jordan L. Jones (Jazz), Simone Joy Jones (Lisa), Karrueche Tran (Ivy), and Duane Martin (Steven Lewis).

The 10-episode series will premiere on Peacock on February 13.

Will Smith had the support of his family while attending the premiere of the new Peacock series Bel-Air!

The 53-year-old actor posed for photos with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and son Jaden Smith on Wednesday night (February 9) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Will is one of the executive producers of the new TV series, which is a dramatization of his sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

On the red carpet, Will met up with young actor Jabari Banks, who plays him in the new series. At the after party, Will and DJ Jazzy Jeff performed for the crowd!

Bel-Air will premiere on Peacock on Super Bowl Sunday (February 13, 2022) with the first three episodes at launch and new episodes released weekly.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot, which will be set in modern day Bel-Air, has found it’s new Will!

Will Smith surprised the casting choice, newcomer Jabari Banks, during a Zoom call to reveal the news.

The show will debut on Peacock and here’s a synopsis: “Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. With a reimagined vision, Bel-Air will dive deeper into the inherent conflicts, emotions and biases that were impossible to fully explore in a 30-minute sitcom format, while still delivering swagger and nods to the original show.”

Jabari is actually from West Philadelphia and graduated from University of the Arts in Philly in 2020! Congrats, Jabari!!!!
