Jon Voight has officially endorsed Donald Trump for President.

“I’m not someone who’s saying he’s the best of this group. I’m saying I like this guy,” the 77-year-old actor told Breitbart News.

“He’s an answer to our problems. We need to get behind him. The Republicans need to unite behind this man. We need somebody to go in and reconstruct us in a sort of way, get us back to where we were, who we need to be,” Jon continued.

“It’s not right – as if Trump were the danger to our country. He’s a patriot, and the people are responding because they know it’s exactly what has to happen. Somebody has got to get in there and clean it out – even take the paint off,” Jon added about Donald being vilified.

Joshua Jackson is dapper in a suit while hitting the red carpet at the CBS, Showtime & CW 2015 Summer TCA Tour Party held at the Pacific Design Center on Monday (August 10) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 37-year-old actor was joined at the event by his The Affair co-stars Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney and Dominic West, CSI: Cyber‘s Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Bow Wow and Charley Koontz, NCIS stars Emily Wickersham and Pauley Perrette, CSI‘s Marg Helgenberger, Ray Donovan‘s Jon Voight, and Criminal Minds‘ Matthew Gray Gubler and Shemar Moore.

During the event, Josh joked about his role in Dawson’s Creek forever following him.

“I have noticed friends of mine’s children, like teen and preteen children, suddenly being like, ‘Oh! You’re an actor! That’s what you do for a living!’ Yeah, it lives forever. I’m glad all my awkward teen years are preserved for all time,” Josh expressed (via ET). “I hope by the time I have children who are of the age that they can watch it, that that show is off the air,” Jackson joked. “It’s going to be very hard to have any authority in my own household if that’s on the air.”

Jon Voight shares his views on how President Barack Obama is handling America’s relationship with Isreal in a video given exclusively to JustJared.com.

“I love Israel. I want to see Israel survive and not be overtaken by the mad men of this world,” the 76-year-old actor says in the video.

Jon continued, “President Obama does not love Israel. His whole agenda is to control Israel. In this way, he can be friends with all of Israel’s enemies. He doesn’t want [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Bibi Netanyahu to win this upcoming election. America has not been the same since his presidency. I beg all of you to understand the truth.”
