Karlie Kloss is a mom!

The 28-year-old model has welcomed her first child with hubby Joshua Kushner.

The 35-year-old businessman took to his Instagram on Sunday night (March 14) to announce that their baby had been born.

“welcome to the world 🌎” Josh wrote along with a photo of their baby in a crib at the hospital.

As of right now, no other details about the baby have been revealed.

It was first revealed back in October that Karlie was expecting, but she didn’t officially confirm her pregnancy until the following month.

A few months ago, Karlie opened up about her pregnancy, sharing how it’s changed her every day routine.

Karlie and Josh got married in October 2018 after over six years of dating.

The 28-year-old model is pregnant with her first child, according to People.

“Karlie is overjoyed to be expecting her first child in 2021,” a source told the outlet. “She will be the most amazing mother.” We have photos of her on a bike ride with her husband over the summer.

Karlie and Joshua, 35, got married back in October 2018 during an intimate ceremony in upstate New York and then celebrated with a bigger party in June 2019 in Wyoming.

The couple has been together since 2012 and have only been on the red carpet together a handful of times throughout their relationship.

If you didn’t know, Joshua is the founder and managing partner of the investment firm Thrive Capital and he’s also the younger brother of Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of President Trump. Earlier this year, Karlie opened up about her political views and who she’ll be voting for in 2020.

“I really followed my heart on choosing to be with the person that I love, despite any complications that came with it,” Karlie told Diane von Furstenberg in a new episode of her podcast, InCharge with DVF. “You know, I knew for me, it was worth it to fight for that.”

“I think that in my career too, you know, being true to my heart or being true to myself, when I know that something is not aligned with who I am, and the message I want to send to the world, or the kind of person that I want to be maybe that comes back to character,” Karlie added. “But like, my heart often is telling me exactly what I need to hear. And I didn’t always listen to it.”

The 27-year-old model is married to Joshua Kushner, the younger brother of President Trump‘s son-in-law and political advisor Jared Kushner.

Many people have assumed that Karlie must be a Trump supporter just because of her association to the Kushner family, but that is not true.

“I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics,” Karlie said while appearing on the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live. “I voted as a democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020.”

“I’m very passionate about different issues, you know, women’s reproductive health,” she added. “I’m very involved with Planned Parenthood, as are you. Next time we’re both home in St. Louis you should come volunteer with me,” she told host Andy Cohen.

Andy also asked Karlie about everything she’s been through in her relationship with Joshua.

“I met my man in 2012. I was 19 years old. It was 2012, it was a different world,” she said. “My man and I have been through a lot together and I’m so proud that he’s my partner. It has not been easy, but it’s worth it and I would make that similar decision a million times again.”
