Lauv and Julia Michaels are teaming up to release the music video for “There’s No Way,” which you can watch right here!

The talented singer-songwriters teamed up to drop their new video on Thursday (September 27).

“Writing with Ari is equal parts funny and serious. He’s the kind of person that can tap into an emotion and then say something random to break up the heaviness in a room. I love that about him,” said Julia of their collaboration.

“Julia is an absolute legend not only as a songwriter but just as a human being. The first time we met we didn’t even write a song, we just talked about life and emo bands and stuff. A few days later me, her, Justin Tranter and Ian Kirkpatrick got into the room and wrote ‘There’s No Way.’ For me the song is about meeting someone and immediately feeling that connection where you can’t help but have crazy chemistry, and though your lives don’t quite line up in that moment, you know someday everything could go down between you two,” said Lauv.

Julia Michaels belts out her hits during her Today show performance!

The 24-year-old “Heaven” singer took the stage as part of the Citi Concert Series at Rockefeller Plaza on Friday (July 27) in New York City.

She stood out in an all-pink ensemble as she sang “I Miss You,” “Jump,” and “Issues” for the crowd.

She also sat down with Today‘s Hoda Kotb to discuss her journey from songwriter for other stars – including Selena Gomez and Gwen Stefani – to the spotlight as a solo artist.

“When I wrote ‘Issues’ I just had this feeling that I couldn’t give it up,” she said.

“Today was unbelievably special,” Julia tweeted. “First concert for my gems in New York on the @TODAYshow can’t thank you enough for coming out so early to hang out with me :).”

Ariana Grande, Kelsea Ballerini and Alessia Cara are putting on a show!

The three music superstars all performed on Wednesday evening (July 11) as part of the Amazon Music Unboxing Prime Day Event in Brooklyn, New York City.

During the showcase, Alessia premiered her new single “A Little More,” which she recorded as a birthday gift for herself.

Ariana performed hits including “No Tears Left to Cry” and “The Light Is Coming” from her upcoming album Sweetener, and the show was streamed around the world.

Kelsea performed tracks like “Yeah Boy” and “I Hate Love Songs,” plus a surprise Justin Timberlake mash-up.

In addition, Julia Michaels opened the event with performances of ” Pink,” “Issues” and her new single “Jump,” as well as covers of some of the smash hits she wrote for other superstars.

Ariana‘s fiance Pete Davidson, Ashley Tisdale and Camila Coelho were all in attendance.

Keith Urban rocks it out as he hits the stage as the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (June 25).

The 50-year-old Australian country star performed “Coming Home” off of his latest album, Graffiti U.

Towards the end of his performance, guest vocalist Julia Michaels, who co-wrote the song, appeared on the screen behind the band for her verse on the track.

Graffiti U, which peaked at No.2 on the Billboard 200, came out in late April, and features the singles “Female,” “Parallel Line” and “Coming Home.”

Keith Urban and Julia Michaels just dropped a music video for their song “Coming Home!”

The duet off of Keith‘s new album Graffiti U talks about finding your place of comfort, whether that’s your home or someplace else.

“My only desire was to not be specific about what or where or who home is. I like viewers to feel their own story and make their own connection,” Keith told People.

He added, “[Director] Andy Hines suggested the heightened reality that we see in the video, which keeps it somewhat like a dream, or at the least, an idea more than an actuality.”

Brynn Cartelli is joined on stage by Grammy-nominated singer Julia Michaels for a performance during the season 14 finale of The Voice on Tuesday (May 22) in Los Angeles.

The 15-year-old singer performed “Issues” and “Jump” with Julia during the show.

Julia was very involved with The Voice this year. She was an advisor for Adam Levine‘s team during the battle round.

In addition to her own songs, Julia has written tons of hits for other stars including Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran.
