Kate Upton is a mom!

The 26-year-old model just announced that she and husband Justin Verlander welcomed a baby girl into the world this week.

Kate gave birth to Genevieve Upton Verlander on November 7 and she shared an adorable picture to her Instagram account.

Justin also posted a photo on his account and he wrote, “Welcome to the world Genevieve Upton Verlander. You stole my ❤️ the first second I met you!!! 11.7.2018.”

This is the first child for both Kate and Justin, who got married in November 2017 in Italy.

The 26-year-old model and actress and the 35-year-old baseball player hosted a reception for Grand Slam Adoption Event and Wins For Warriors Foundation at Grace’s On Kirby on Monday (September 3) in Houston, Texas.

The event was held to raise funds for adoptable dogs to become service animals for military veterans.

“Loved hosting the 4th Annual Grand Slam Adoption Event with @justinverlander! We met the most amazing adoptable dogs and hope every single one finds loving homes!” Kate wrote on Instagram.

The event took place before Justin‘s game with the Houston Astros against the Los Angeles Angels.

Kate and Justin have adopted dogs of their own, and frequently visit shelters around the country to promote dog adoption. The married couple partnered with Wins for Warriors Foundation and Astro’s Dog Day for the event, presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

“Justin and I are so grateful to everyone who came out to support the Grand Slam Adoption Event today. We hope anyone considering adding a pet to their family visits their local shelter to save a life,” Kate said at the event.

Kate Upton‘s husband Justin Verlander is opening up about his private struggle with depression.

The 35-year-old baseball pitcher says Kate helped save his life after a shoulder injury seemed to put career in jeopardy.

At one point, Justin was booed by fans and some even blamed his relationship with Kate for his decline.

“She was instrumental in me not…like, jumping off a bridge. I was depressed and kind of just upset at the world and trying to hide my own s**t,” Justin told Bleacher Report.

He continued, “I don’t like to talk to people about being hurt. As athletes, you’re not supposed to…But [Kate] was someone I could talk to. I mean, basically a therapist. Somebody I could trust with…worries about my career. Worries about, Can I make it? Worries about what I’m going through to get back.”

Kate added, “It was so emotional. He was in so much pain, and he was just trying to find the best path back.”

Eventually, Justin decided to enter physical rehab, where he learned to adjust his playing style and got his career back on the right path.

“Who knows, if I’m even here if it wasn’t for her?” Justin said.

The couple – who are currently expecting their first child together – walked the red carpet at Hollywood Palladium on Saturday (July 21) in Los Angeles to celebrate her Hot 100 cover.

Kate Upton walks the red carpet with her baseball player husband Justin Verlander at the 2018 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday (July 17) at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

The 26-year-old model, who just revealed she’s pregnant with her first child, is at the game to support Justin, who is playing on the American League team.

When they announced the pregnancy over the weekend, Justin wrote the sweetest message for his wife.

“You’re going to be the most amazing Mom!! I can’t wait to start this new journey with you! You’re the most thoughtful, loving, caring, and strong woman I’ve ever met!” he said. “I’m so proud that our little one is going to be raised in this world by a woman like you! I love you so much.”

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are about to become parents!

The 26-year-old supermodel and the 35-year-old baseball pitcher are expecting their first child together, Kate confirmed on social media on Saturday (July 14).

“#PregnantinMiami @justinverlander 🌞❤️,” Kate captioned a picture of herself showing off a slight baby bump while posing on a balcony in Miami, Fla.

The two got married in Italy in November of 2017. They had been dating since 2014, and Justin popped the question in 2016.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Kate made the announcement during Sports Illustrated’s first-ever open casting at W South Beach. She stuck to fresh juice at brunch while her supermodel friends Christie Brinkley, Kate Bock and Olivia Culpo sipped on Barcelo cocktails and Whispering Angel. See pictures below!
