Kellan Lutz and Jason Statham look ready for some action in their military-esque garb in these brand new character posters for The Expendables 3.

Also featured on more posters inside include Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Victor Ortiz, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture.

Here’s a full plot synopsis of the film, in theaters on August 15: Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

Kellan Lutz sports fingerless gloves while celebrating his birthday on Friday (March 28) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 29-year-old actor was joined by his Twilight co-star and close gal pal Ashley Greene, who brought her boyfriend Paul Khoury.

Kellan Lutz shows off his hot bod while going shirtless at the beach this week at Monkey Bay in Thailand

The 28-year-old actor, who will still be on his vacation for his birthday this weekend, also stopped by Maya Beach, where Leonardo DiCaprio‘s movie The Beach was filmed. Another stop on the trip included getting blessed by a monk at The Big Buddha in Phuket.

Kellan and his buddies also took a trip to visit the Soi Dog Foundation alongside members of the Nikki Beach Phuket and Nikki Beach Worldwide teams. The group toured the facilities and learned about the heartbreaking situation concerning the neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand.

Kellan Lutz shows off his huge muscles while gliding over water on a flyboard during a trip to celebrate the opening of the new Nikki Beach beach club & restaurant on Saturday (March 8) in Phuket, Thailand.

The 28-year-old actor also rode an elephant that day with his buddies.

Earlier in the day after a stop at the gym, Kellan saw a stray cat and stopped in a 7/11 store to buy some cat food. He then hand fed the food to the little kitten!

Kellan was looking white hot on Friday evening while attending the grand opening party alongside actor Jean-Claude Van Damme.
