Madison Prewett was a little take aback when she found out that Peter Weber had reunited with Kelley Flanagan, just weeks after they had split following the latest Bachelor season.

Speaking on the “Off the Vine” podcast with Kaitlyn Bristowe, the 24-year-old revealed that while on the show, she and Kelley were really close and it took her by surprise when news broke that Peter was in Chicago with her.

“I was definitely hurt and thrown off by that whole situation. I want the best for the both of them, but I definitely was thrown off,” she shared.

Madi added that just days before, Peter was still calling and texting her.

“He was, like, calling me and texting me being like, ‘I miss you, let’s get back together,’” she says. “I mean, I think that to me was a little confusing, but I think, like, when you breakup and you’re going through a heartbreak and you just came off a show that was emotionally, physically and very which way exhausting, everybody handles that differently. Everybody leans on different things.”

After the images of Peter and Kelley surfaced, Madi added that Peter once again reached out to her.

“He sent me this long, long text, kind of explaining himself, but not really. Just kind of sharing the current situation or whatever. I was very kind back, I was just like, ‘Look, this doesn’t affect anything for me, like, we went our separate ways, it’s not like I lost something here,’” Madi said.

She continued, “What I’m confused about Peter is two days ago you were telling me how much you loved me and wanted to get back together and now you’re with the one person that was my best friend. It just feels a little hurtful.”

However, despite everything, she wishes nothing but the best for the could-be couple.

“I saw something special in Kelley, that’s why she was my best friend. I saw something special in Peter, that’s why I loved him and wanted to fight so hard to make the relationship work. So they’re obviously both incredible and special people,” she says. “He’s not the one for me, so I wish him all the best.”

Earlier this week, Madison and a group of The Bachelor contestants threw some shade at Peter on TikTok.

The Bachelor star and his former contestant have been quarantined together in her Chicago home amid the ongoing health crisis.

During a recent appearance on Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay‘s Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Peter revealed that despite getting engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss and then dating his runner-up, Madison Prewett, he feels that he knows already knows Kelley better than the other two.

“Yes,” he said. “You get to know someone quick like this… I’ve definitely gotten to know her very well. Everything that kind of makes her tick and just kinda annoys her. It’s been good. Really good.”

“She’s got three bedrooms,” he continued. “No roommates… We each have our own rooms… It’s a good time.”

“We are quarantining together, so we have no choice but to spend all of our time together,” he added. “I’m grateful for that. I’m very grateful because we get along so well. I look up to her and just have so much respect for her. I owe a lot of it to her. She’s been amazing.”

Kelley Flanagan chimed in, “Some parts of him that you saw weren’t necessarily him. I even used to say on the show, ‘There’s Peter Weber and there’s the Bachelor Peter.’ They’d be like, ‘Can you stop saying that?’ And I’d be like, ‘No, ’cause it’s true. I met him outside of this and he’s so much cooler than he is on this show.’”

“I guess I’d rather have it that way than vice versa, so, thank you,” Peter Weber responded.

The Bachelor‘s Peter Weber and his former contestant Kelley Flanagan are currently quarantining together and now, fans are wondering if they’re dating again.

Peter made an appearance on The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast, and addressed the rumors.

“I’m an open book with that. Kelley is someone that….we’ve always gotten along really well. Unfortunately, the show for her wasn’t the best kind of opportunity for her to find love. She’ll be the first one to admit it. She was very uncomfortable throughout it all and it wasn’t her cup of tea. But Kelley and I, outside of that, have just connected and it’s just been really kind of weird how life has just kind of happened with us. We met before the show, ran into her completely random in Miami after the show, very very briefly just said hi, but pretty much and then after that, I ran into her third time out in LA through mutual friends. And so, it’s just been a really good relationship, [she's] someone that I just really got along with really well and you know, I think the world of Kelley no doubt about that,” Peter said.

Dustin Kendrick is speaking out about Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan‘s relationship after they were all seen hanging out together in Chicago before stay at home orders took over.

The former Bachelorette star, who was on Hannah Brown‘s season with Peter, opened up about the chemistry between Peter and Kelley.

“I think Kelley and Peter get along great. I would love to see something come out of this but timing just isn’t the best for them,” Dustin shared with US Weekly.

He added that they are enjoying spending time together while in quarantine together.

“After a show like [The Bachelor], it’s easy to bond, be able to talk freely and have someone else on the other end that understands it all,” Dustin adds. “Hopefully after this all blows over, they are able to find that solid connection between the two of them.”

He continued that Peter and Kelley “just get each other and their chemistry is disgusting cute! Coming from the third wheel guy of the year.”

Kelley and Dustin also appeared in another video together, lip-syncing to “I Don’t Understand.”

Peter also posted his own “Flip the Switch” video, and another dancing to Roddy Ricch’s “The Box.”

Chris Harrison is opening up about Peter Weber‘s recent hangout with Kelley Flanagan.

Talking with People, The Bachelor host and his girlfriend, Lauren Zima, chatted about the could-be couple after they were spotted hanging out together in Chicago last week.

While Chris didn’t confirm the two were a couple, he did say that “if any of these people [from the show] can find love, if any of them find a great stable relationship that makes each other happy, then God bless them.”

He added, “If you’ve learned anything from our show, it’s that love comes in crazy ways, and Lauren and I have found the same thing in our own private life.”

“So, however you find it, when you run into it, if everybody’s happy and safe, man, good on you,” Chris continued. “Because it’s tough to find. It’s crazy to find. And when you look at the Arie [Luyendyk Jr.]‘s of the world or the Jason Mesnick‘s of the world, and even Colton [Underwood], and how they found love in such an unconventional way, and all the twists and turns, there’s no one way. There’s no magic pill. So however these people find it, good on them and I wish them the best.”

Hannah Ann Sluss, who got engaged to Peter Weber during the season finale of The Bachelor, is reacting to the rumors that he’s now dating a different contestant.

Peter broke up with Hannah Ann so that he could pursue a relationship with Madison Prewett, but they split just days after the finale.

Now, Peter has been spotted with Kelley Flanagan, who actually was in the audience at the finale.

“I was completely blindsided by a lot, if it has been going on all along that would be very sneaky… Maybe it will work out for them and he will be decisive about her,” Hannah Ann said during an Instagram Live with Nick Viall (via E! News). “Honestly, when I saw it, I wasn’t really surprised, because that’s been the pattern, everything going in all directions.”
