Check out the newly released trailer for the upcoming National Geographic movie Killing Kennedy.

The film, chronicling the tragic assassination of the former Commander in Chief, stars Rob Lowe as JFK, Ginnifer Goodwin as his wife Jackie Kennedy, along with Michelle Trachtenberg, Will Rothhaar, Jack Noseworthy, and Casey Siemaszko.

The film follows the two men – JFK and his killer Lee Harvey Oswald – from very different backgrounds, on a collision course with fate.

Killing Kennedy is set to debut on the National Geographic channel on November 10 – be sure to check it out!

Rob Lowe and Michelle Trachtenberg hit the stage for the Killing Kennedy panel held during the National Geographic Channels portion of the 2013 Summer Television Critics Association Tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel (July 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The actors were joined for the panel by co-stars Will Rothhaar, Jack Noseworthy, director Nelson McCormick, and writer Kelly Masterson.

Killing Kennedy focuses on the events leading up to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (Lowe) and what happened after the killing.

Check out your first look at Ginnifer Goodwin playing Jackie Kennedy and Rob Lowe as former President John F. Kennedy in these photos from their upcoming film Killing Kennedy.

The film “chronicles the final years of Kennedy and his assassin Lee Harvey Oswald (Will Rothhaar) leading up to their deaths in November 1963.”

Killing Kennedy will be released on the National Geographic Channel in November to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the assassination.

Michelle Trachtenberg is set to star in National Geographic’s upcoming two-hour original drama Killing Kennedy, according to Deadline.

The movie, based on Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard‘s book of the same name, is also set to star Rob Lowe and Ginnifer Goodwin as John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy, respectively.

The movie will follow Kennedy (Lowe) – a member of one of the United States’ most wealthy and powerful families – and his assassin Lee Harvey Oswald – a disillusioned former Marine and Marxist – until their lives collide in Dallas.

Hours after the news broke, Michelle shared her thoughts about the project!

“I am so excited for the challenge to portray Marina Oswald, and to do my first role speaking only in Russian,” Michelle told Us Weekly. “I’m the only actor playing someone who is still alive, so I want to stay as true to her as possible. This is a story about JFK’s assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald and his wife Marina. And it is fascinating.”
