Luann de Lesseps is opening up about her sobriety journey.

The 55-year-old Real Housewives of New York star made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday (August 6).

During the episode, Luann was asked if “all the sober talk” on the current season of the reality TV series “was just for the camera.”

She then clarified that she “had to be sober because I was on probation,” which was a “heavy thing to live with.”

“If I had a drink, I could go to jail,” she revealed.

“It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through.”

“When I got through to the other side I really had the choice myself to decide if I wanted to drink or not and I felt in a good place and I felt I was back in the driver’s seat. Now I don’t have anybody watching over my shoulder except for me. I got through it, and thank God.”

Back in 2017, Luann was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida for being drunk, disorderly and attacking a policeman.

The 35-year-old actress and singer just flew to the Big Apple after attending the Toronto Film Festival to support her husband David Foster‘s new documentary.

Katharine wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Just got to NYC for fashion week and I’m beyond tired. I don’t know how you models do it. I used 25 filters to look alive.” She may think she looks tired, but she looks stunning to us!

Luann de Lesseps has officially completed her yearlong probation.

The 54-year-old Real Housewives of New York City star took to Instagram on Wednesday (August 28) share a handwritten note that expressed her gratitude and happiness at completing her probation.

“Hi my friends, I’m happy to say after a difficult year…I’ve made it through!” Luann wrote. “I’m humbled and grateful for this life lesson and ready to put the past behind me and move on with my life. Wish me luck! Thank you for your undying support over the year. Love always, Luann.”

Luann was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida back in 2017 on charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest, battery of an officer and making threats against a public service. She entered rehab after her arrest, and again in July of last year.

In May, Luann was briefly arrested after she violated her probation that stemmed from her original arrest.

Luann‘s legal and sobriety struggles have been documented on the past few seasons of RHONY.

The 54-year-old Real Housewives of New York cast member opened up in an interview with Access about being almost 90 days sober.

“I haven’t reached out to anybody in the public eye. It’s kind of a private thing, especially meetings and all of that…but there are a lot of celebrities at meetings, so I don’t feel so alone,” she said when asked about people in the public eye who have inspired her.

“You know who’s been really inspirational also is Demi Lovato, because she’s been very public about her struggle. I think it’s important. I think a lot of people are struggling and they don’t know how to help themselves…she sings about ‘Sober,’ and even in ‘Feeling Jovani,’ I talk about ‘one day at a time,’” she said.

“You know who’s also been very supportive is Andy Cohen…Andy‘s been great.”

Luann de Lesseps is heading back into custody.

The Real Housewives of New York star and cabaret singer was ordered back into custody on Thursday morning (May 23) over her alleged probation violations, according to CBS 12.

The judge declared that Luann “isn’t taking her probation seriously after a positive alcohol test and failure to attend meetings.”

However, she will not be going to jail.

She will undergo “both weekly telephonic counseling sessions, as well as monthly in-person psychiatric sessions” and will take medicine to treat alcoholism. She must also maintain a Soberlink breathalyzer monitoring device in her car, according to The Blast.

Last year, Luann pled guilty after being arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer at the Colony Hotel on Christmas Eve in 2017.

Ty Burrell and Taran Killam hit the red carpet at the Rolling Stone Live: Atlanta event on Saturday night (February 2) at the Goat Farm in Atlanta, Ga.

The guys both showed their support for the Los Angeles Rams by wearing baseball hats with the team’s logo on it for the Super Bowl Weekend party.
