Joaquin Phoenix hits the red carpet with his sisters Rain, Liberty, and Summer, and their mother Arlyn while arriving at PETA’s 35th Anniversary Gala held at the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The family was joined at the event by Kesha, Emily Deschanel, Maggie Q, William H. Macy, Bellamy Young, hostesses Anjelica Huston and Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee and his wife Sofia Toufa, Tish Cyrus, Jason Biggs, Alicia Silverstone, Jillian Michaels, George Lopez, Seth Green, Moby and Naomi Grossman.

Joaquin and his family hit the stage together to present the first-ever River Phoenix Humanitarian Award to Earthlings filmmaker Shaun Monson.

“He took personal responsibility for his beliefs by becoming vegan,” Arlyn said about her late son River, adding, “He inspired not only our family but the world.”

Joaquin Phoenix stands alongside his older sister Rain for a photo opp inside the 2015 Art of Elysium & Samsung Galaxy Marina Abramovic Heaven Gala held at Hangar 8 on Saturday night (January 10) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 40-year-old Inherent Vice star was also joined at the event by James Marsden, Usher, Dita Von Teese, Michelle Branch, and Zach Braff.

Emmy Rossum steps out in style at a party for Ali Larter‘s new cookbook “Kitchen Revelry” with Perrier-Jouet held at Sunset Tower on Tuesday (August 27) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress was joined at the event by Jamie Chung, Rain Phoenix, and Ali herself!

Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix walk the red carpet at the 2013 Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (February 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 38-year-old actress and 38-year-old actor were joined at the event by Joaquin‘s older sister Rain Phoenix.

Amy is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in The Master while Joaquin is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for the same flick.

Joaquin Phoenix hides behind his cap and heads home after a fun night at Hollywood’s Bardot lounge on Monday (May 5).

JustJared.com spies spotted the 35-year-old actor sitting on the patio watching his older sister Rain‘s band, Papercranes, perform live. Joaquin and pal Casey Affleck were seated on the patio — front and center — sipping Ketel One and Stella’s. Nearby sat actress Daryl Hannah.

Last Wednesday, Joaquin was also in the crowd watching Jane’s Addiction perform.

Joaquin Phoenix lets his bed head hair free at the premiere of Reservation Road at the Varisty 8 theatre during the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday.

Joaquin, 32, was accompanied to the premiere by older sister Rain, 34. Reservation Road opens in theaters nationwide on Oct. 19.
