More details about the men arrested for kidnapping Lady Gaga‘s French Bulldogs have been revealed.

If you don’t know, last week, five people were arrested in connection with the dognapping.

Three of the five people arrested were the ones who were involved in the actual dognapping and shooting of Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer. One of the five people is the father of one of the alleged dognappers. The woman who returned the dogs was the fifth person arrested. She is the girlfriend of the father.

Lady Gaga's Dognappers Arrested, Including One Arrest That Will Surprise You

There’s a major update in the dognapping of two of Lady Gaga‘s beloved dogs back in February.

You probably remember that Gaga‘s dogwalker Ryan Fischer was walking the entertainer’s three dogs in Los Angeles on February 24. A car pulled up next to him and two men got out and attacked him. Ryan was shot in the chest and the attackers fleed with two of the dogs while the third dog was able to escape.

Gaga announced a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her dogs and days later, the two stolen dogs were brought to a police station after being found in an alley.

It was announced on Thursday (April 29) that five people in total were arrested by LAPD and one of the arrests is going to surprise you.

Lady Gaga's Dog Walker Ryan Fischer Shares Health Update, Reveals Lung Collapsed Several Times After Shooting

Lady Gaga‘s dog walker Ryan Fischer is providing fans with another health update after he was shot while walking her three French Bulldogs last month.

If you don’t know, Ryan was attacked by two men last week while he was walking Gaga‘s three dogs. Two of the dogs were stolen, and video surveillance footage showed the attackers pulling up next to him. One of the attackers pulled out a gun and shot Ryan in the chest before fleeing with two of the dogs. The third dog, Miss Asia, escaped and was recovered from the scene. Gaga‘s two stolen dogs, Koji and Gustav, were returned safely home a few days later.

Ryan made what appeared to be a miraculous recovery and released a statement a short time later. However, now, he’s revealing the long road he’s facing, plus the multiple lung collapses he’s had to face.

“I was prepared to quietly start a path to healing from the emotional trauma and continue on my way,” Ryan wrote in the caption to his video. “Unfortunately, the strange hissing and glugging coming from my chest every time I took a breath begged to differ with that assessment.”

He learned his lung collapsed after being discharged from the hospital and “air was filling up my chest cavity.”

“Along with accepting the news that I was about to be readmitted, several nurses and doctors told me how they had been in the room when I came in with my gunshot. How they didn’t think I was going to make it,” Fischer recalled. “To hear them actually say it I had truly been confronted with my mortality.”

His lung multiple times after being readmitted to the hospital.

“It became quite clear that my lung was not healing, and the bullet wound had scarred my tissue like a burn,” he wrote. “It could take months, if ever, for the hole to seal. Lunches of grilled cheese and tomato soup and art walks blurred into one until the day came to remove portions of my lung.”

Lady Gaga‘s dog walker Ryan Fischer has made his first public statement since being shot (and has shared photos of himself from the hospital).

I love you and thank you.”

Lady Gaga's Dogs Have Been Safely Recovered, Reps Confirm

Lady Gaga‘s dogs have been safely recovered!

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the Associated Press that a woman brought the two dogs, Koji and Gustav, to the LAPD’s Olympic Community Police Station.

The detectives on the case and a representative for Gaga went to the station and confirmed that they were her dogs. Gaga is still in Rome, Italy, where she is working on an upcoming movie.

The police confirmed that the dogs were unharmed and the woman who turned them in appears to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with the attack on Wednesday night. It’s not yet known how she obtained the dogs.

Family of Lady Gaga's Dog Walker Releases Statement, Thanks Her for the Support

Ryan Fischer, the man who was walking Lady Gaga‘s dogs and was shot while they were stolen, is going to make a full recovery and his family is speaking out with a statement.

The family released a statement in which they thanked Gaga for the support she has been sending him during his recovery.

Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery. We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan,” the family told TMZ.

The statement continued, “Of course, we also want to thank Lady Gaga who has shown nothing but non-stop love and concern for Ryan and our family right from the outset. Ryan loves Gustavo and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return.”

A source spoke out this morning and revealed that Ryan may have been targeted because the robbers possibly knew he was walking Gaga‘s dogs.
