Robbie Rogers and Derek Hough suit up while attending the 2014 GLSEN Respect Awards at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Friday evening (October 17) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also in attendance at the event were Rose McGowan, Homeland‘s Morena Baccarin, Stalker‘s Elisabeth Rohm, Rizzoli & Isles‘ Sasha Alexander, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Jessica Capshaw, Criminal Minds‘ Shemar Moore, The Young and the Restless‘ Greg Rikaart with boyfriend Robert Suddeth, and jewelry designer Markus Molinari.

Derek was honored with the Inspiration Award at the event.

It was announced earlier that week that Robbie‘s life will be inspiring a new comedy series called Men in Shorts, which was picked up by ABC, according to Deadline. In case you didn’t know, he was the first openly gay man to compete in a top North American professional sports league.

Sophia Loren is surrounded by stars while attending her 80th birthday gala held on Saturday (September 20) at Museo Soumaya in Mexico City, Mexico.

The legendary actress was joined at the party by actors Forest Whitaker, Jon Voight, and Andy Garcia. The party was thrown by her longtime friend Carlos Slims, who just so happens to be the richest man in the world.

Sophia‘s son, director Edoardo Ponti and his wife, Rizzoli & Isles actress Sasha Alexander, were in attendance at the gala as well!

Julia Louis-Dreyfus gets all glammed up for the HollyShorts 2014 Opening Night Gala held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday evening (August 14) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 53-year-old Veep star was joined by Luke Wilson, Sasha Alexander, and Orange is the New Black‘s Alysia Reiner.

Julia recently talked with Yahoo about topping last year’s Emmy speech if she wins again for her role on Veep.

“I guess I can’t. I don’t know. I think I’m f—ed. I don’t know,” Julia said. “Also I don’t think about speeches until the last second – that speech from last year, I thought of it in the shower on the day of the Emmys and called Tony [Hale] immediately. I just got out of the shower, like “Oh my god…” and I called him right away. So… I’m hoping something will hit me. I’m just going to have to wing it. Do you have any ideas? Because I really don’t.”
