Yolanda Adams gave us chills while performing “America The Beautiful” at Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday afternoon (February 2) in Miami, Fla.

The 58-year-old gospel singer took center field to perform the iconic tune ahead of the kick off of the game.

Yolanda is just one of the many performers for the event, with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira sharing the half time show later on in the night.

The Super Bowl is obviously a sporting event, but it’s always one of the biggest stages in music every year and there will be plenty of great performers this year!

The kick off for the game is at 6:30pm ET tonight (February 2), but you should make sure to tune in a few minutes in advance for the pre-show performances.

Gospel singer Yolanda Adams will kick things off with “America the Beautiful” and then Demi Lovato will perform the National Anthem.

Make sure to tune in for the Halftime Show because it’s going to feature some incredible moments. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are co-headlining this year’s show and they have some special guests to help celebrate Latin music – J Balvin and Bad Bunny. There’s also a rumor that JLo‘s daughter Emme Muniz will be joining them on stage for a special performance.

The 50-year-old actress and singer was honored at the event for her philanthropic contributions to the music community.

Singer Yolanda Adams was also honored at the event for her advocacy on behalf of fellow creators.

“GRAMMYs on the Hill clearly has an impact and makes a difference,” Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow said in a statement. “It is no coincidence that just one week after last year’s Awards and Advocacy Day, the Music Modernization Act unanimously passed the House of Representatives, paving the way for the bill to later be signed into law. Through the continued dialogue between music creators and Congress, we are ensuring a viable future for music makers.”

Aretha Franklin is being honored in a major spectacle called Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul on Sunday night (March 10) at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.

The star-studded concert will be hosted by Tyler Perry, and will feature appearances by Angela Bassett, Courtney B. Vance, Clive Davis and Smokey Robinson.

The evening will also include performances by superstars like Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Janelle Monae and Jennifer Hudson.

The legendary Queen of Soul died at the age of 76 in August of 2018.

Yolanda Adams, Fantasia Barrino, and Andra Day team up to honor Aretha Franklin at the 2019 Grammy Awards!

The 57-year-old gospel singer, the 34-year-old “Lose to Win” crooner, and the 34-year-old “Stand Up for Something” singer took the stage at the event held on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The trio performed the late Queen of Soul’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” receiving a standing ovation.

Aretha passed away last August at age 76 after a battle with cancer.

Aretha Franklin is getting a superstar tribute!

The late Queen of Soul will be honored by CBS, the Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and Clive Davis with Aretha! A GRAMMY Celebration for the Queen of Soul.

The special will include performances from Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, BeBe Winans, Brandi Carlile, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe and SZA.

Tyler Perry will host the night, with more performances to be announced in the coming weeks.

The live concert taping is on January 13, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. PT at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be broadcast later in 2019 on CBS. For ticket information, click here.

Recently, a strategist for Barack Obama‘s presidential campaigns revealed that Michelle doesn’t have any plans of running for office.

“People say to me all the time, ‘Well, do you think she might run for office sometime?’ I would bet everything that I own against that prospect,” David Axelrod explained.
