Ellen Page's Dark Defiance

Ellen Page spends her last day at the AFI Film Festival 2008 at the premiere of Defiance, held at the Arclight Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday.

The 21-year-old Juno star recently finished working on Whip It! and will appear in an upcoming film called Peacock.

Peacock is a psychological thriller that evolves around Cillian Murphy‘s character who has a split personality. Page plays a struggling young mother who holds the key to his past and sparks a battle between the personalities.

“This is one of the boldest screenplays I’ve come across in my albeit short career,” Page said of Peacock. “It’s a character and story I can throw myself into and exactly the type of movie I love to be a part of.”
