On-and-off-screen couple Dev Patel and Freida Pinto (in Stella McCartney) attend a photocall before introducing a screening of their hit movie, Slumdog Millionaire, at the Film4 Summer Screen at London’s Somerset House on Sunday (August 2).
Freida, 24, and Dev, 19, were also spotted having dinner together in NYC late last month. Dev can be seen running away from photographers below!

That butterfly dress is very pretty and I love the shoes!! I don’t know what a 24 year old woman finds to love in a 19 year old kid. Boys are so much more immature than girls and a 19 year old seems like a baby to me. But it it works for them . . .

It works for them because Dev is not a American 19 year old. He’s from England where you are legal at age 18, as is the case in many other European countries. During the six months they spent promoting Slumdog it was quite obvious Dev & Freida had become closer than just mere friends. Try as they might to hide it, their body language and looks at each other on all those red carpets gave them away….. along with a broken engagement on Freida’s part and Anil Kapoor’s loose lips.
I like these two and I am happy they found love ……….
