Miranda Kerr hits the catwalk, showing off nine different designs on the catwalk at the David Jones Spring/Summer 2009 Collection Launch at the Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park on Tuesday (August 4) in Sydney, Australia.
The 26-year-old Aussie supermodel opened and closed the show, themed “A Great Southern Summer 2009.” Throughout the show, models showed off a variety of styles from 24 various Australian designers to classic Australian tunes such as “Throw Your Arms Around Me” by Hunters and Collectors.

I don’t like Kerr’s runway walk, always the same walk with the swaying of hips. I also noticed that she isn’t a chameleon on the runway!

She is cute and and has a nice body but no @ss on pic #6. Lingerie pictures are always photoshoped to make us believe models are skinny and still have perfect @ss and b00bs but that’s not true.
Haha, she gets the worst clothes to model. Some supermodels get to model LaCroix, Gaultier, Nina Ricci and then there is David Jones. Who the hell is David Jones anyway? She’s a crappy model. She’s on the bottom of the hierarchy in terms of supermodels!
I know that she’s a VS and DJ model and the FB/GF of Mr. Bloom, but that’s about it! Nothing more nothing less.
Actually, here in America only a few people know who she is and that’s mainly because of Orlando. Her pictures are quite always on the tabloids with Orlando’s name always attached whether it’s on the front, middle, or bottom!
IMO, she’s quite overrated just like Bar Refaeli! Models who get known because of who they’re effing.

the blonde is making it look like kate bosworth.. but kate’s face is much prettier. this girl has a bulby nose. kate has a more refined nose.
All she does is glorified catalogue modelling. I’ll stick to the HF girls.

FYI: David Jones is the second most famous/biggest department store in OZ – next to Myers.
According to many articles, Miranda is their contracted fashion ambassador for 5 years which is worth 6 figures.
Gravitas is only needed for high fashion mags who want all of their models to look hungry and angry. A lot of successful models lack gravitas. Vogue is amazing, but it isn’t the ‘be all, end all’ for the careers of all models.
But one thing is different…Bar doesn’t have a long term contract with VS, like Miranda does. Bar will really need to work to stay afloat.

I have so much respect for HF models as them being models cause they actually do what a model should really do!
I have so much adoration for Lara Stone, Natasha Poly, and probably Edita Vilkeviciute now! They’re just fierce and versatile whether it be on runway shows or pictures.
Thats what Im saying no love for Anja Rubik or Natasha Poly or Edita or Lara. But then I suppose they’re not shagging some semi-washed up actor are they?

It’s not my business who they’re dating! I just admire their talents as models! And that fierceness and versatility are very lacking in most of the VS models imo
And i dare say that VS should stop booking and tempting HF models to sign a contract with them! They should concentrate more on commercial models to be fair.

Gorgeous figure – perfect for commercial modeling even if not really ‘thin’ enough for ultra-HF. She has a very sweet cherubic face. To be honest, I much prefer her ‘slim-but-still-healthy’ looks to the anorexic bone-thin HF figure any day. This girl is quite slim but still has shape and looks to be in good health.

No one has ever said that Miranda is high fashion, so where is the debate? Or are you just comparing her to HF girls as an attempt at insult?

Miranda looks stunning, love love love the red dress……You can be as snobby as you like, but most people have never heard of the so-called HF models of today, now it’s celebrities that get the all mag covers. Miranda doesn’t need to walk the runnways in Europe, she is very successful already being a VS angel and the Fashion Ambassador for David Jones.
@lola: Well I wouldn’t call Orlando Bloom semi washed up, but I hate how she’s only getting attention for dating him. Nobody even knew who she was before him. Vodianova, Poly, Rubik etc… definitely deserve more attention than her because they are HF fashion models. She models boring outfits.
