Orlando Bloom gets wet in frigid waters as he films scenes for his new indie movie The Good Doctor on Thursday (February 4) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 33-year-old English actor plays a doctor that tampers with a patient’s treatment to keep her longer in his care.
Recently, details emerged concerning the robbery of Orlando‘s home back in July of last year. Nick Prugo, Rachel Lee, and several other accomplices are currently on trial for the robberies of several celebrity homes.
“I don’t think any of us realized how severe it was until we actually got caught,” Nick told Good Morning America. “It didn’t seem as bad as it was…Now that I look back, I realize how serious it was … It scares me to death.”
Nick and Rachel pleaded not guilty on Wednesday.

I was so happy for him with teh great reviews that he got for Sympathy for Delicious. And now he has gone from Rocker, to Cop to Doctor. Makes you wonder what kind of role he will be doing next.
I sure hope to see him in elf ears again for the Hobbit.

Maybe it is because I am a guy but I never understood the ‘excitement’ over him either as an actor or celebrity/sex symbol. I am sure he is like-able enough but he is too fine featured and too smooth faced a man. I can understand teen girls liking him but grown women?

Well, everyone has different tastes, but I find him incredibly attractive.
Beautiful body, strong jaw, handsome face and incredible eyes. Plus the fact that he is well known to be an amazingly warm, giving and generous person, as well as an extremely nice guy with hardly any ego.
He is, by ALL accounts, to be as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. THAT, combined with his looks, is what keeps me his fan. Good looking guys are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. He just has that something extra special that attracts people to him. His co-stars don’t ‘like’ him, they ‘LOVE’ him. And he gives back, too. How many stars are so dedicated to helping people that the UN makes them an ambassador? Not many, that’s for sure. And even fewer dedicate time helping people without cameras rolling to document their altruism.
All this will keep me his fan forever. Even if he never made another movie.
