Hugh Jackman Guest Stars in Emotional Video

Check out this emotional video featuring Hugh Jackman.

The 41-year-old actor makes a quick cameo in this video by his friend Kristian Anderson, a 35-year-old dad of two from Australia who was diagnosed with cancer.

In the clip, Kristian tells his wife how much he loves her and how he appreciates her support as he fights the disease. Hugh backs him up, saying, “He loves you!” to Rachel.

You can read more from Kristian over at his blog.

Kristian and his entire family are in our thoughts.

why you gotta make me cry in the morning jared? not cool..

  • Fare

Well I’m wrecked, shit.. That was really beautiful, weird thinking about all the people and families who struggle with this. I’ll go tell my aunt, who is a breast-cancer survivor that I love her :) Inspired

  • kristi

I lost my mom to cancer. I imagine my dad felt the exact same way, even though he never got the chance to tell her like this, as he passed away a year earlier. They were both young. Life isn’t fair. Horrible things happen to beautiful people. Wishing you the best of luck Kristian.

  • Andie

My mother is a cancer-survivor, the thought of loosing her was completely devastating. I really hope Kristian will be there for his family for many years :) Agree with Fare, although the movie is moving it is also inspiring..

  • John

God Bless him. I hope he beats this!

  • Sunny

What some people will do to attract attention is beyond belief. Also plastering your kids over the net, so not cool. This is a private video and no-one really wants to see the story of your life and the brief cameo by Hugh. Could be a perfect funeral video though to get the sympathy vote.

  • kant spel

@Sunny: As a cancer survivor, I’ll disregard your comment due to your ignorance. Oh, and troll harder sweetie.

  • M

    I completely agree with Sunny

  • Marie

I think we can all relate, but I found it odd that he chose the put Hugh Jackman in there, no matter how close of a family-friend he is..

  • Tatiane

I`m still crying!!! Amazing and God very emotional!!!
Sunny you`re just an ignorant, I lost 2 family member for this deadly desease and how is the felling!!! God bless him!!

  • Kelly_J

@Marie: Kristian chose Hugh because he’s his fan, and also for this reason:

  • Michelle

What a beautiful family! So sad. I am praying for the whole family and that God will heal him. What a wonderful video for his wife.

  • http://@suzy86 suzy86

that was beautiful!!! i cried… that’s so frigging sweet!!!

I pray that he gets better!!!!

  • OMG

OMG – what an attention seeker. I too have lost family members to cancer, but unlike this guy they were not fame seekers and showed some dignity. Certainly didn’t post their “tweets” online or put up pics of their kids for all the world to see. He should show a bit of class here. We don’t all want to read about his private video to his wife. Wonder if she and the kids are happy to be ‘out there’ for all the world to see.

I guess when you are facing death, you will just do what your heart wants to do. If you want to swim naked in the ocean you will do it because you may not get another chance. He wants to show the whole world his love for his family. He is proud of his love for his wife. It is understanding that he post it for the world to see.

  • anna

I cried watching this! Rachel is very lucky to have found this man! I hope he gets cured! My thoughts go out to him, rachel and his lovely kids

  • Jokergurl

@Sunny @ M why don’t you two go stick your heads in a toilet together and flush. My mother is a cancer survivor, I have no tolerance for people who are not sympathetic towards cancer, NONE. I think it’s cool Hugh did this.

  • flower

    @Sunny and M,
You are both monsters. Hope you get your karma soon! Silence is sometimes gold. That man loves his wife and his family. I hope he beats this terrible disease. Rachel is one lucky gal!

  • Blip

“You’re.” Not– God help us– “You’r.”

I don’t care: If you’re flying the flag for everyone to see, get it right.

  • sister

@Blip: erm, Blip? It DOES say “you’re”.
    Look closer.

    boy, DEFINITELY a keeper!

  • marymargaret

Hugh is an honest-to-gosh gentleman. It is rare for such a good person to also be the most talented actor, singer, dancer, etc. out there. And also be a true friend…

  • Gregorio

What an amazing treasure this man has given his family! In the midst of personal chaos, he puts others before him and bravely tells the world of his deep and abiding love for his wife, children, and life itself.

How anyone could marginalize or mock him is just beyond me, there are no words….

  • Sunny, my ass!

    lol you’re such a wanker

  • choddie59

i’m amazed there’s been so few emails since yesterday. i started looking for this today (saved it yesterday but yahoo didn’t print it).

“Marry Me” by Train. Off their album “Save me San Francisco.”

Hugh and Kristian Anderson did not know each other personally.
Kristian is a listener of Triple M, Australian radio station where works Gus Worland, one of the best friends of Hugh Jackman.
Anderson told Triple M of his desire to make this gift to his wife in which he wanted to involve Jackman, so Gus called Hugh telling about this touching idea and he agreed immediately to do this cameo in the video, of course.
I pray for him and wish he could stay for many years with his family and see his children grow.

They actually love the video… come over to their house sometime and I bet they would offer you dinner and a drink, despite the fact you’re clearly a wanker.
