Cate Blanchett: Rave Reviews for 'Uncle Vanya'

Cate Blanchett takes her kids Roman and Ignatius for a stroll around town on Friday (August 12) in Washington, D.C.

The 42-year-old Aussie actress is in town while performing the play Uncle Vanya at the Kennedy Center.

The opening night of Cate‘s show was earlier this week and she is receiving rave reviews for her performance.

Ben Brantley of the New York Times says that Cate “confirms her status as one of the best and bravest actresses on the planet, with a go-for-broke yet artfully contained performance that keeps sabotaging her own natural elegance.”
