Michelle Obama Celebrates Military Spouses & Mothers
Michelle Obama is all smiles at an event honoring military families in the State Dining Room at the White House on Thursday (May 10) in Washington, D.C.
The 48-year-old First Lady of the United States helped honor the upcoming Military Spouse Appreciation Day and celebrate Mother’s Day.
Michelle was joined by Dr. Jill Biden, who hosted a Joining Forces service event at the Vice President’s residence at the Naval Observatory earlier in the day to assemble Mother’s Day packages that deployed troops have requested to be sent to their mothers and wives at home.

Bye bye Obama THE MARXIST TWIT roll on to November, Hey Obama tell us why you Obama arming the drug cartels and ignoring the terrorist infiltrating the border.
Obama’s are awful people, Military family’s my azz, every 4 years Michelle Obama trots out military family’s as props for the Obama campaign…….. every survey from men and women in our military by majorities despise President Obama.
What have they done for you Peabo? Let’s be honest is our country
safer now and are the people of this great country working and making a
living wage? The welfare hoods will always be there they can’t crawl out of their holes, because their peeps destroy each other in the hood. Stop reproducing and try going to college, make something of yourself and you will get out of the ghetto.
I watch Judge Judy last week and a young black lad was on and said he was on disability for “anger management” He collects $1100.00 per month from the working class people of this great country. I can’t believe we give all this money away so some people can just hang on the corners.
I hope we get a new president because this one is not doing a good job.
hows about bringing them home to stay for a mother’s day present like your hubby kinda sorta promised
America is lucky to have such a wonderful First Lady!!!! She and Jill Biden have worked tirelessly on behalf of military families.
Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!
@anne:
Every 4 years? Obviously math was not your best subject.
And “awful people” are people who don’t respect the office of the President regardless of who is sitting in the White House.
@Dee:
Watching Judge Judy makes you a political expert. The fact that you take that show seriously makes me realize why you are pro-Romney. You don’t know fake when your looking it the eye.
Why blame Obama for trying to clean up the horrendous and huge MESS BUSH put us in. He came into his presidency when the country was at it’s worst. He didn’t make these problems and now you expect him to fix them in four years. He is slowly getting America out of this DEPRESSION Bush caused and not getting any help from the REPUBLICANS. But at least he is making headway and trying to help the people that suffer most. Not the extremely RICH.
Go back to watching Judge Judy that fine educational program!
Oh I Forgot……….
FOUR MORE YEARS!
@Peapo: NO WAY, kiss the white hose goodbye Obama
kiss the white house goodbye Obama
@Emma:
Second time’s a charm, eh Emma?
4 more years!!!!
I am democrat but I do not like Obamas. She is fake all the way. They not do anything to help the other people, only help black people. In the pictures look wonderfool with the white people but that is it.
@moni:
moni, I doubt you’re even registered to vote.
I commend First Lady Michelle Obama for her continued work in supporting military families, and recommend to those above that they do the same. All recent First Ladies have helped to bring attention to important issues, and it is shameful and despicable to let partisanship detract from what should only be gratitude for the work they have done.
