Julianne Hough: Toned Tummy for 'Interview' Feature!

Julianne Hough shows off her fit physique in this photo shoot for Interview‘s June/July issue, featuring cover girls Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron.

Here’s what the 23-year-old Rock of Ages actress had to share:

On her Dancing with the Stars past: “When [DWTS] first asked me to be on the show, I said no, because I wanted to act and to be taken seriously. And I thought that being on a reality show would hurt my credibility … My biggest fear is that people think, ‘Oh, just because she was on DWTS, she thinks she can act now.’ But I’ve been acting my whole life, which people don’t realize. I just haven’t had the opportunities that I’ve had with my dancing.”

On religion: “The thing that I loved about growing up Mormon is that I had morals and standards instilled in me as a kid – like, you need to be a nice person, and a thoughtful person, and if anybody is trying to dog that, then I think that’s rude. It’s, like, don’t you want to raise your kids with that kind of mentality? I mean, I may not be as active in it as some people are, but I think that the church has taught me great life lessons.”

Morals and STANDARDS??????? wat the hell is she talking about?

  • Jevie

    I love her!

  • Lexy

I respect her beliefs, however, I don’t think you have to have any kind of religion instilled in your head to be considered a good person. I’m not saying she said that, I’m just saying that I’ve met a few people who believe that growing up without god is impossible, which is so untrue. My mom and dad (who are atheists), always taught me to treat others with the same kind of respect that I would like to be treated with, which I still live by today. It’s shocking how some people think that you can’t be a “good” person without god.

  • Dave Franco

An actress? She is a better dancer. You’re making a mistake girl.

how does being Seacrest’s beard fit in?

  • tom

Wonderful body. I am sure that she is a nice girl. But she is a horrible actress. Religion is such bullshit. You do not need religion to be a good person and have morals.

  • haha

    dancers have such nice bodies.

  • solecito

It must be really nice to have absolutely no extra fat in your tummy and tights. So jealous!

  • hmm

@tom: could not agree more (about religion).. people who have strong beliefs can also be the most dangerous. But its weird that she has no problem being with ryan seacrust? after he cheated on her.. where are her morals now?

  • Di

great body, but …. moralizing about religion and being a good little mormon girl do not mix well with the crotch shot.

  • noprobBOB

@Di: The Crotch shot?! lol Forget that…I think you mean the little mormon girl thing does not mix well with the entire concept of HOLLYWOOD IN GENERAL!! haha
