Robert Pattinson Suffered 'Manic Attack' for 'Cosmopolis'
Robert Pattinson continues his Cosmopolis promo tour with a photo call at the Thompson Hotel on Monday (June 4) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Director David Cronenberg and co-stars Sarah Gadon, Kevin Durand, Emily Hampshire, and Paul Giamatti also joined the 26-year-old actor at the press conference.
Rob, who has talked about suffering panic attacks before working on a new project, said Cosmopolis was no different.
“I guess that’s kind of my process now. I have to go through the motions of feeling I’m going to have a heart attack for a while before,” he told reporters. “[David] told me to stop worrying. I think he heard me in the very obvious throes of a manic attack.”

So handsome. Poor Rob suffering panic attacks.
Great seeing so many posts about Rob and I for one can’t wait to see the film.
I saw the movie and it was kind of boring. Really. Full of long and non understandable conversations. But it a strange way, it was still interesting. I must say Robert Pattinson prestation was EXCELLENT ! The best part of that movie is that the actors and actresses were really really good !
He’s so sweet and a genuinely humble person. He has not lost himself in the madness that is Hollyweird. And I love that Rob is working with Cronenberg as that is the type of thought provoking work Rob has always liked pesonally.
@Sabrina: The movie takes from Don Delillo’s unique dialogue in the book. I can’t wait to see it.
I saw the movie too. it is a little slow, dialogs sometimes are hermetic, but it’s still a fascinating film, RPattz I must say is excellent, totally believable, it is surprising. There is no vestige of Edward in his performance, the other actors are great too …. I guess the hysterical Twihard teensif they go see the movie will have their poor brain fade!
