Cynthia Nixon and her wife Christine Marinoni walk the red carpet at the 2012 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 10) in New York City.
The 46-year-old actress is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her work in the show Wit, which she shaved her head for earlier this year. Cynthia lost the award to Venus in Fur‘s Nina Arianda.

WOW! Bernadette Peters looks amazing!! I once saw her at the store and she was very, very fair skinned-I guess she’s living proof that staying away from the sun keeps your skin looking good. Not that she hasn’t had any kind of surgery, she prolly has, but, still, there’s only so much it can do. Clearly this lady has taken very good care of herself.
@ #1, yes, please will someone explain this phenomenon> I do not have any neg. feelings towards gays, in fact I think they should be allowed every right that everybody else has and the same respect, too. However, being straight, I need help understanding this if someone would care to tell. I myself would NOT be attracted to a man who is extremely effeminate and dresses in women’s type clothing, so what gives here??
