In the movie, the 30-year-old actress plays an aspiring film star who director Alfred Hitchcock (Toby Jones) cast to be the lead in his flick The Birds.

The movie follows the story of Tippi Hedren‘s (Miller‘s) infamously tense working relationship with Alfred, who she allegedly said ruined her career when she refused his sexual advances.
