John Mayer Announces First Tour in Three Years

John Mayer is set to hit the road this summer for the first time in three years!

The 35-year-old singer is featured on the cover of this week’s Billboard magazine issue and talks about getting to head out on tour after his extended hiatus due to throat issues.

“The greatest gift I have in my life is the opportunity to play again, which is also the opportunity to dream again,” John said. “My dreams were in escrow, but when I found out this thing in my throat had receded, the most exciting thing for me was having a second chance at a new life. My dreams have come true twice. That’s really cool.”

John will be joined on all tour dates by American Idol winner Phillip Phillips.
