Penelope Cruz: Next Bond Girl?

Penelope Cruz is reported to be the newest addition to the James Bond family, supposedly in talks to play an infamous Bond girl in the next film, according to Yahoo.

“The producers have tried to get Penelope before, but she has never been available because of other commitments,” a source close to the production said about the 39-year-old pregnant actress. “The discussions have been going on for some time and they are working out the contract details now.”

Penelope‘s husband Javier Bardem played the villain in last year’s hit Skyfall.

“She got back into shape fast after the first baby and will no doubt regain her figure quickly this time,” the source added. “She’ll be a great Bond girl. Bond girls are always brainy as well as sexy, and that’s totally Penelope.”
