Matt Smith Rides in Rickshaw After Clubbing with Friends

Matt Smith heads out of Groucho Members Club with a male pal and hops into a rickshaw for a ride home in the early hours of the morning on Friday (August 9) in London, England.

The 30-year-old actor is leaving his role on the beloved show Doctor Who and is set to be replaced by Peter Capaldi next year.

“I just want to wish my successor all the best. And just say good luck and good on you for getting it. I know he’s a big fan of the show and a really nice guy,” Matt said (via Digital Spy).

“The casting made me really excited. Genuinely. And as a fan, I think it’s a canny choice. I think he’ll be a hit. Good luck, man. It’s going to be a thrill!” he added.
