Miley Cyrus: 'Wrecking Ball' Video Defended by Dad Billy Ray!
Miley Cyrus steps out of her hotel to a mob of photographers on Wednesday evening (September 11) in London, England.
The 20-year-old entertainer’s new music video for “Wrecking Ball” has created a lot of controversy for its sexuality and now Miley‘s dad Billy Ray Cyrus has spoken out defending it.
“I’m a song man. A musician singer songwriter who loves all styles of music. But again … I come from the old school where it starts with an artist and a song … colliding if you will … in a moment where the song, the singer, the producer, the band and the listener become one,” Billy Ray told Entertainment Tonight. “It wouldn’t have mattered if Miley would have worn jeans and a flannel shirt … a Tux … or a nun’s habit. The song’s a smash … and her performance vocally on the tune reflects her roots and sheer God given talent.”
Timeflies just released a cover version of Miley‘s “We Can’t Stop”. Check it out below!
