Ryan Phillippe plays it cool as he heads out of the Chateau Marmont on Saturday night (April 5) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor was joined outside the venue by his girlfriend Paulina Slagter.

The month before, Ryan was spotted wearing a painter’s outfit while filming a scene for the pilot of his new ABC show Secrets and Lies in Charlotte, N.C.

Ryan will play a family man and small-town painter who becomes a murder suspect when he stumbles upon the dead body of his four-year-old neighbor while on a morning run. Faced with media and police attention, he must find the real killer to clear his name before he loses his family and sanity.
