A simple spelling mistake was made. It’s not the end of the world. Grow up; stop acting like a child.

Everyone should see him in “Up Periscope.”
    Great movie.
    Great, great guy.

He’ll be missed. A good man with a huge heart that you could see by the twinkle in his eyes. I hope he wasn’t alone when this happened. My deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and anyone blessed by knowing him.

  • Texti

He worked with legends, Donald Pleasance, Richard Attenbrough, Steve McQueen, he even had the audacity to make Victor Victoria. James Garner was a great actor who will be sorely missed, at least he led a full life.

  • What a laugh

Apparently none of you are old enough to remember him as Maverick. What a shame since that made many women at that time swoon over him for the first time. It was the days of a young Clint Eastwood too as Rowdy Yates on Rawhide. They don’t make ‘em like Mr Garner anymore.

    my respects

  • Fan of the Classics

I love The Rockford Files and loved him in the movie Murphy’s Romance. This man was a great actor, a true professional and even did his own stunts. I read on another site he was married to the same woman for 58 years. Wow! RIP Mr. Garner and condolences to your family and friends. They don’t make them like you anymore. You are a HW legend and a class act who will be missed by your many fans of all generations.

I will miss “Ole Jimmy” and Rockford files is one of my favorite old shows. He was one of the oldies but goodies. I’m sad to hear he died. Another ‘end-of-an-era’. Rest In Peace! James.
