Jessica Chastain Wants to Continue Robin Williams' 'Legacy of Generosity'
Jessica Chastain hits the carpet at a private screening of her movie The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby on Wednesday evening (September 10) at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City.
The Oscar-nominated actress was joined at the Cinema Society and Prada hosted screening by her co-stars James McAvoy and Jess Weixler, as well as director Ned Benson.
Jessica made an appearance on The Today Show that morning and talked about receiving a college scholarship from the late Robin Williams.
“He was a complete stranger, and he absolutely changed my life,” Jessica said, adding that she hopes to pay the kindness forward. “It inspires me to try to continue his legacy of generosity. It’s such a beautiful thing that he did, and he would want to help other people, I think.”
