Aubrey Plaza Responds To Those Who Think 'Grumpy Cat' Movie is the Decline of Her Career
Aubrey Plaza looks as happy as ever as she leaves The View on Monday (November 24) in New York City.
The 30-year-old actress has been busy promoting her new Christmas movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, which debuts on Lifetime on November 29.
On Twitter, she’s gotten some responses to the movie asking if this is the decline of her career, to which she responded, “Well, the thing about the so-called Twitter backlash is really something that… I fabricated that myself, because most people, I think, on Twitter are really excited for it, and there were a couple of mean tweets, and I picked those out of all the good ones because I thought that it’d be funny to respond in character, and so, for me, it’s a game. I don’t think of Twitter as some kind of weird marketing tool in general. It’s my personal account, and I only do what I think is fun on it, and I just had a lot of fun responding to people because I just don’t think people understand what the movie is going to be until they see it. So, for me, it’s like, bring it on.”
FYI: Aubrey is wearing Poprageous‘ Grumpy Cat leggings.
