Rihanna might not have released any new music this year, but she still was all over the place in 2014. The singer made possibly one of the most talked about fashion moments of the year at the CFDA Fashion Awards, where she wore a completely sheer dress that didn’t leave anything to the imagination. Even though she didn’t have new music come out, she has been working hard in the studio and even went out on the road for a quick mini-tour with Eminem to see her fans live in concert!

4. Jennifer Lawrence
This has been a year of ups and downs for Jennifer Lawrence – she was nominated for her third Oscar and starred in two box office smashes (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and X-Men: Days of Future Past), but also dealt with the nude photo leak that affected many celebrities in Hollywood. Jen‘s relationship status also was front and center in the news this year after her split from longtime love Nicholas Hoult and then her short courtship with singer Chris Martin.

3. Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt has had a great year – he is a married man once again, he had a number one movie in theaters, and he became an Oscar winner! One of Brad‘s biggest moments was when he married Angelina Jolie surrounded by their six adorable children. They of course shared a bunch of wedding photos for all their fans to be part of the occasion as well. His movie Fury was a box office success, grossing $182 million worldwide (so far) on a $68 million budget. Brad also joined his wife as an Oscar winner when the movie he produced, 12 Years a Slave, took home the Best Picture award this year.

2. Angelina Jolie
Just like her husband, Angelina Jolie has had an incredible year both personally and professionally. On the professional side, Angie directed the movie Unbroken, which will be released on Christmas Day, and released the box office smash Maleficent, which grossed $757 million worldwide. She also started work on her next directorial feature, a film called By the Sea, which also stars Brad. At their wedding, Angelina wore a dress that was adorned with her kids’ own works of art. It was possibly one of the most original wedding dresses we’ve ever seen!

1. Kim Kardashian
There is no denying that 2014 has been the year of Kim Kardashian, which was capped off by her “breaking the internet” with her nude photo spread for Paper magazine. Another major magazine moment she had was when she covered Vogue for the first time with then fiance Kanye West for the April 2014 issue. The couple had a fairytale wedding in Italy in May and they also have been sharing the most adorable photos of their daughter North West throughout the year.
