In Memoriam Segment at SAG Awards 2015 Honors Those We Lost in 2014 (Video)

The 2015 SAG Awards honored the stars that passed away this past year with their In Memoriam segment.

The segment, which was introduced by Liev Schreiber, honored Robin Williams, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joan Rivers, and many more.

“Tonight, as we honor the accomplishments of our fellow artists, we also mourn the passing of the members of our community whose work lifted our hearts and enriched our lives,” Liev said when he got to the stage.

Our thoughts go out to the families and friends of those who passed away last year.

It’s an insult to amazing actors that Joan Rivers is included in this segment… I hope they don’t do the same in the oscars.

What song was used? I recognized it, but can’t place it.

The music was from “The Secret of My Success” with Michael J. Fox. I immediately recognized it, too, but couldn’t place it. Figured it out after a bit of research.

SAG Awards memoriam failed to mention ARLENE MARTEL iconic, versatile actress with 50 year career

  • Donna Platt

They also failed to include Marc Platt, actor/dancer. Perhaps because his career was more as a dancer, but he should have been included. He is in TCM remembers. Thanks, I had to get that off my chest.
