    ….forgot UCSB?

I am going to repeat this, only a few people could see the gem of an artist or actress which is in Jen A.

For me as a fan of Jen A, Cake is the best 8 million dollar film of 2014. I respect Rachel Morrison’s work as DP. So do with other crew of the film. If you have seen Cake over and over again you will notice that the script brings justice to the authenticity of every role players, that every words uttered on each character should be as truthful as to what is happening in a real world. Like we are having a normal conversation, we do not use doctoral terms.

It is not fair at times when we rate these movies like Nissan Leaf 2 stars and Tesla 5 stars base on the price tag of the car.

For Jen A (working for 27 years in the industry) at age 45 years age (who is already on her retirement age) deserved a nomination and even a win as Best Lead Actress at AMPAS. The way they rewarded other actors before who were not nominated this year.

I don’t think that she could produce this kind of drama again in the future because of insufficient public support. I will just cross my fingers for now though I hope she could produce more wholesome realistic drama/comedy like this in the future.

  • JAhag

    What for? Seriously, what for?
For big flop or meh-as always-meh acting?
    Anyway congrat.

  • Jo Degani

    Are you shitting me???

  • Ethery

Jen A, its unbelievable that you are back on your slim body, you definitely lost weight, you’re back to your perfect tone fit in just a month. You are as resilient as Vivien Leigh and pose on camera as perfect as she did before in front of media photographers. lol
You played everything so well, calculated and no rival at presenting yourself.
I think you will make more movies or films until the end of the world. :-)
Imagine this there are 52 weeks in 1 year, which means there are 52 new films in one year and you are one of the top 5 actresses among thousands of actresses around the world.

Why you deserved that award? Because you’re great in Cake.

Cake became Cake because you did your flawless stunt of performance that many actresses wants to achieve but could not come as close and as perfect as you did.

It is interesting that you add more concept that I have not found before that Claire did not move forward due to she don’t want to make some changes of letting go. Amazing puzzle to draw from Cake.
I said this before that Cake is a lichen, it stretches slowly but will surely cover all above 18 year old audiences around the world that never leaves them. It is so happened that many watched it for free over and over again at the poor quality leaked streaming.

At this time you are on your way to promote SIFTW prior nationwide release on May 1.

  • Joy B Angie

Jen is the most beautiful woman in the World.
    Cograts Jen !!!

  • norah mackenzie

for all of the above and not for showing her cleavage that is why she got the award maybe?

  • spinsin

    Oh please

  • spinsin

    Lol

  • CLX

I like the top a lot but the muppet hair has to go. I find it puzzling that people think she has nice hair.

  • Joy B Angie

Hi everybody did i forget to mention ”Cake” is big flop. My Jen is still promoting this dead movie.I heard her next movie is called ”Pity” is about the life of Jennifer Aniston, to bad the role of Jennifer Aniston is going to someone else because Maniston can even play herself.

  • jul

She really needs a new hairstyle. She uses her hair as some kind of security blanket.
And her name does not belong among those more talented stars, other than Oprah who also put on a desperate campaign for the Butler.

  • Bwest

Oh my god! Anyway a fan (?) smart JA! Has argument,
shows tranquility and speaks in pictures on the film as a well trained critic, biased, that want to sanctify a
wronged actress(?). But is betrayed by passion, which transforms all the text in a melodrama as bad as
believing that cake is a work of art! Jen is still empty, the film deserved the few stars, and I saw the movie! There’s no way to compare its performance with the
nominees this year Julianne M. whose role of
    Alicewas masterful, touching and should
get the Oscar, Reese W. that makes us travel and hope for freedom, Marion C., a dramatic one day and one night to save his job, and that made his campaign very
quietly, not speaking of loving past and showed no hair, chest or ass, etc. We also have Felicity Jones, who plays the first wife of Stephen Hawking in the biopic
the theory of everything, and Rosamund Pike,
protagonistof suspense Girl exemplary, were indicated
by Golden Globe and now debut on Oscar nomination. There was no injustice, there was no monetary factor criticality and PR to the evaluation. But, I agree that she shouldn’t give up, after all, always have Huvane paying any price ( for any time still ) !

  • Bwest

I’m still looking for the major contributions to the movie industry,(maybe, show more tits and hair? ) but we need to help this poor poor, betrayed ex-sweet heart of America, so ,congratulations!

  • norah mackenzie

look at the pants – i mean really?

  • norah mackenzie

but her contribution is there – with all the worst movies ever made and the non stop pr going on for years and years

  • CLX

Agree, but I do like that top!

  • guest

Well she found an award she could buy. No other nominees, no competition. Just picked by the committee, with help from her PR reps of course. What exactly is her “contribution to movies”? She has never won any awards for her movies, only for her playing Rachel on Friends. Maybe the award is really for how to be a crappy actress and still have the media lap up your every move because you have great PR representation.

  • Seriously

I see the bitter, jealous women of the internet are out in full force today. Your never-ending obsession with Jen is hilarious. Going on ten years that none of you have gotten a life of your own. Ha!!!

And since you’re all about numbers. Here are some numbers for you. Cake has still made twice as much money as Still Alice. Both Cake and Still Alice cost $4 million to make. Cake has also made 6 times as much money as “In the Land of Blood and Honey”. In the Land of Blood and Honey cost $13 million to make and it took in all of $330,000, WORLD WIDE. Ha! Unbroken cost $65 to make and another $65 million to market. So far, it has essentially broken even. This is also true of Fury and The Case of Benjamin Button, which cost $ 300 to make and market and has pulled in around the same amount box office wise. To this day Moneyball ($110 Million) has made far less of a profit than The Bounty Hunter ($136 Million)

Should your saints ever be nominated for another award again I’ll be sure to remind you that you think all of these awards can be purchased. Of course if that happens you’ll insist that they only give out awards based on talent.

  • nani

Oh – MY – GOD! In the first picture se is doing exactly what Angie does with her hands. She has been doing it during this awards season, but it is the way Angie dince always. What a fake woman JA is!

  • nani

Oh – MY – GOD! In the first picture she is doing exactly what Angie does with her hands. I’ve noiced thar she has been doing it during this awards season, but it is the way Angie does since always. What a fake woman JA is!

  • kellyf

That is the dumbest comment I’ve ever heard.

  • kellyf

Do you really not get enough satisfaction by obsessing over your hatred for her over on the Angelina threads?

  • kellyf

The pants are a little too long, but she should hang onto the new stylist, she’s looked really great lately.

  • Bwest

Uaaaa! … and tiring these comparisons, worthy of a crazed desperate fan of JA! Let’s talk numbers? Why don’t you compare Cake fundraiser with Maleficent? Or so with WWWZ? In fact, some film of JA came near these levies? Maybe Marley& me, but this the protagonist was a dog!Hahahahahah

  • Bwest

Oh my god! Is photoshop of evil or the Chin of hers is this big whole? It’s the damnedest thing, and this whole Turtleneck blouse stuck in neck(after showing tits and until the navel in another event) gives the illusion of greater world’s Chin and a slight dewlap.Never use this, seriously …

  • Kathy

Glad she dressed appropriately for a change!

  • Kathy

Jen said “Cake” cost $8 million to make. Why not listen to your idol instead of making up fake “facts” to prop her up?

ITLOBAH was NEVER in more than 18 theatres so that makes your comparison absurd. And Angie didn’t take a salary. “Unbroken” never cost $65 million to market. Most of the marketing was done on NBC owned venues like Comcast and NBC.

Angie was given the Performance Of The Year award at SBFF in 2008. The Montecito Award is for “style” as a body of work. Whatever TF that means? You may be able to arrange SBFF awards and I don’t doubt Paramount might have arranged that for AJ but you can’t buy an Oscar nomination and Angie has had TWO of those.

  • Jan

    Not dumb…it’s accurate. You’re dumb.

  • Jan

I also feel her hair is her security blanket…it usually looks bedraggled, hanging there. When she got it cut to her shoulders, she looked fabulous! I don’t like these deep neck tops…her boobs are fine but they are too droopy to wear this stuff. And NO, she has not made a major contribution to the film industry, not award deserving. Are these awards “sympathy” awards?

  • jane

weird, but her tired hairstyle is probably the only reason i just can’t like this woman. she NEVER looks different – ever. just get a new cut, a new color, a new style. she is so basic and plain

  • jane

    Hi Jen. Is this you???

  • jane

    is this her publicist?

  • Stasia

what is up with the comments sections in the archives/old threads? They have all disappeared. Anyone know?

  • kellyf

And that’s the second dumbest comment I’ve ever heard. I stand like she is in that picture probably 11 times a day, as does everyone else in the world. I suppose we’re ALL copying Angelina though. Laughable.

  • kellyf

You Angelina fans keep coming on her articles, hurling insults that 8 year olds would find immature and liking each other’s comments and high fiving eachother and not realizing how pathetic and imbecilic and utterly obsessed you look. But keep it up with the comments. It’s entertaining.

  • Claire

    You can’t like this woman
because she looks elegant and classy.
    BTW
Her hair is different every time.

  • Joy B Angie

Her next movie is called “Stupid”
is about the haters who has no life.
And who uses the stolen nick names.

  • Cheyenne

Cake has averaged $2700 per theater since going into wide release.

Still Alice is still in limited release and is averaging $8500 per theater. Once it gets into wide release it is going to go through the roof.

Cake is going nowhere but down.

  • Joy B Angie

Should we throw you a pity party also just like my Jen.

  • Joy B Angie

The Santa Barbara Award r u kidding me. Whats next the”Cabos San Lucas Award” for no imagination. My Jen is pathetic thats why i love her

  • kellyf

lol you prove my point well.

  • norah mackenzie

yes it is entertaining since you do the same on the aj threads as well so keep it up! the same argument also depends on you – and last time i checked there was no monopoly on 1 thread – u post where u want just like i post where i want and besides since the thread only has 39 comments so far nothing wrong with adding more comments is there?

  • norah mackenzie

you are taking things so seriously – u spew whatever u want on aj threads and u get upset when i say things on a jennifer aniston. its a free country after all – u post where u want and i post where i want. i usually only post on a ajthread but there are times when i want to contribute to a ja thread so that’s it

  • norah mackenzie

well then u proved that point as well

  • norah mackenzie

if u talk at least 3 movies of jennifer anistonthen u can compare with 1 of maleficient box office simple as that. but then nobody likes to be reminded that after more than 20 years in hw all she got was some odd award presented by a pete hammond-

  • norah mackenzie

her contribution is her long list of flop films which pple endured on pain and suffering tbh. and having to put her up with her non stop pr push for a dud movie for the past few months for her to think of getting an oscar nom -

  • norah mackenzie

her hair is different? she needs to keep her hair the same way for 20 years ? nothing new or original when she has a full time hairdresser on site literally?

  • norah mackenzie

maybe the new title sd be ‘ pity the never ending story’!

  • Joy B Angie

    or the pity of oz
