Chad Michael Murray Couldn't Be More Excited About Fatherhood
Here’s what the 33-year-old Marvel’s Agent Carter actor had to share:
On who he wants to work with in Hollywood: “The list goes on and on. I’d love the opportunity to work with Brad Pitt. I love his command of the screen. The Al Pacinos, the Sean Penns and the Daniel Day Lewises of the world…those are the men I grew up watching, who inspired me to become an actor, to become an artist, and I’d love to work with all of them. I also love Hugh Jackman. The guy is a man’s man; I really enjoy the energy that he brings to everything. Those are a lot of the guys I’d love to work with and, of course, the list of women goes on and on as well. The Julia Roberts, the Meryl Streeps, the Angelina Jolies…I’d love to work with Anne Hathaway. She always knocks it out of the park; she’s so focused, [and] you can really feel whatever pain or trauma her character is going through.”
On his personal life: “You know, I’m really good at staying under the radar these days. My wife and I, we don’t go to the quote unquote ‘cool’ places. We have our own life, we have our dogs, we have our lifestyle that we truly enjoy, and we’ve got a cabin if we want to get away and go camping. I spend a lot of time outdoors, so I think that I’m getting the best of both worlds. I feel incredibly blessed. I feel very good about my private scene; I’m going to do everything I can to protect my family and go from there.”
On expecting his first child: “We couldn’t be more excited; it’s the greatest thing in the whole world. I’m going to sit back and enjoy this new chapter.”
