Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got married on Wednesday (August 5) and sources are now disclosing how they pulled off the event in secret!

“Guests were told it was a birthday party for Justin. Jen and Justin wanted to surprise guests and guests were certainly surprised,” a source told People. “Jen has been very good at keeping her wedding planning secret. Only her closest confidants knew that the party was actually a surprise wedding.”

Other ways the couple kept the nuptials a secret were they kept working, they planned the wedding for around Justin‘s birthday (August 10) to keep it a secret, they swore their friends to secrecy, and they waited three years after their engagement to keep people guessing!
