Rami Malek Opens Up About Shocking 'Mr. Robot' Revelations

Rami Malek keeps it casual and carries a backpack while leaving The Bowery Hotel on Wednesday (August 19) in New York City.

Later that night, the 34-year-old actor’s hit new show Mr. Robot aired another shocking episode.

SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

Rami‘s character Elliot not only realizes that Christian Slater‘s character is his father, but he also finds out that his dad has been dead the whole time and he is actually Mr. Robot!

Rami says knowing that all along “did and it didn’t” change his approach to the role.

“That’s a vague answer, but there’s an aspect of Elliot not realizing it, so I thought, why pay any attention to it in the first place?” Rami told TVInsider.com. “Why not make it as real as anything else, and have that come back to haunt him later on? That would make the most impact on his evolution as a character, and what would be most surprising and dangerous for him, would be the shattering thought or realization that something so vibrant and visceral was just a figment of his imagination.”

The Mr. Robot finale airs next Wednesday, August 26 @ 10/9c on USA Network.

Handsome guy and a pretty good actor. The twist on Mr. Robot is such a cop out though. It’s like the character waking up and finding out everything’s a dream.
