The Vampire Diaries' Candice King Talks Pregnancy & Steroline Baby Rumors (JJ Interview)

Candice King‘s character Caroline may not be expecting a baby with Stefan (Paul Wesley) on The Vampire Diaries, but fans can hope given her recent reveal that she herself is pregnant with husband Joe King.

We recently caught up with the 28-year-old actress on set in Atlanta, where she opened up about what we can expect from the new season, including how her personal news may or may not be written into the story.

“It’s maybe affected the size of the pants I’ve been wearing (laughs),” Candice joked with us. “We’re only a couple episodes in, so there’s still a whole lot of story to tell. As much as I would love to answer questions about those storylines, with extra exciting news, it’s kind of the same as every other season. We don’t know what’s going to happen. So I’m in the same boat as all of those awaiting what direction they will take.”

The Vampire Diaries premieres on Thursday, October 8 @ 8PM on The CW!
