Vice President Joe Biden Will Not Run For President

Vice President Joe Biden just announced that he will not enter the bid for the Democratic nomination for President in the 2016 election.

There have been months and months of speculation that the 72-year-old politician would put in a late bid for the nod. However, today (October 21), the Vice President announced a press conference to say he is still grieving his son Beau, who passed away in May from brain cancer. He also added that there’s not enough time at this point to mount a winning campaign.

The Vice President also added that his not running does not mean he will stay silent on issues that are important to him.

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are widely acknowledged to be the top two democratic candidates for President. Donald Trump and Ben Carson are leading the polls for the republican nomination.

I knew he wasn’t going to run. I believe the Democratic Party was really wanting him to run to head off Hillary whom they fill may be bad party due to her past and recent allegations against her. Nobody is running that is worthy on either side at this point. I hope someone will come out of hiding that will be better than what we are being presented with from both sides. This is the time for a strong Independent to come in and possibly win.

Joe was literally the only candidate I might have voted for at this point … the bulk of politicians on either side we have to choose from these days are white collar business criminals that are owned by corporate America … ruled by corporations for corporations … welcome to modern America.

I agree with both comments here that without Joe, there is literally no candidate on either side that I can get behind. This really bums me out.
