Meh, I have listened better songs from her.

  • rrodriguez0309

i knew it was a bad sign that she was over promoting ANTI.. Nothing good ever comes from OVER PROMOTING! it’s a way for artist to get you hyped and brain wash you the music is good.. I”VE herd better from rihanna.. I though BBHMM was bad I guess i was wrong!

  • Joy

Same. I’m not really liking this just yet. Maybe it’ll grow on me later.

  • niagirl

    Nope.

  • Jenny from the flop

She should change the lyrics to quack, quack, quack

this “music” sucks. who in their right mind would listen to this?

  • Will

Does she ever get tired of taking off her clothes? were tired of it.

  • Jeff

All of this time for this. No thanks! Probably one of the worst songs I have heard.

What do you specifically dislike about it, if you don’t mind me asking?

  • MsThickHair

She’s singing in and out of her native tongue, the Bajan dialect, as she usually does except this time she has made the whole chorus in the dialect. I can understand how someone who isn’t familiar with Caribbean-English dialects would think she is speaking unclearly, but she’s speaking clearly within both the Bajan dialect and English. :)

  • katelovesleo

Super YAWN. This dog and pony show. ANTI finna flop …

  • bbbzzz

Ooh now I feel like an asshole, sorry!! However, I’m not sure this will appeal to the masses especially as her lead single for her new album, just because Rihanna is so mainstream and I doubt her mainstream audience/the radio have any idea about the dialect used.

  • Shai 2

She sounds like she was tired or in need of sleep. The flow is off. Then Drake comes in and makes it worst. I’m not sure if he’s rapping or singing because his singing is terrible anyway. It just was terrible and it’s not Rihanna. She’s much better than that.

  • Missy

Maybe her and Drake were drunk or something because this song is awful. They sound awful. I hope the other songs on Anti are bangers or Anti will be a flop. Work needs some more Work.

  • Missy

If this is the best on the album. It’s gonna flop. Work is a mess. I actually was laughing like this can’t be true.

  • Missy

    Good one.

  • lorna rosy

    >_> And the grammy and mtv and billboard award goes to..rihanna for work. *(<_<)* Thank you guys, i put alot of work in that song. Go to hell beyonce. "(<_<)" Bow down, i'm in a billion dollar relationship.

  • Missy

She wont get a Grammy for this song. We was forced down our throats with BBHMM but Work is definitely working my nerves. I’m not going to be forced or programmed to listen to this song. It sucks. I like Rihanna too but its a bad song.

I hope she has better songs on album but we must all keep in mind, no one stays hot aka successful forever and no one has success at everything. Rihanna has been out for a while and has more than a few successful songs under her belt but this could be her cooling time as in low success which happens to many singers.

I worked my butt off to know how do Rihanna works this music, and I couldn’t find out. Work is the topping the chart the charts in UK, Australia and Canada already. Hope to see it appearing on the US chart next week.

  • Michelle Eve

No she isn’t, that is not how Bajans talk or sing at all. People understand us when we talk. I am struggling to understand her and I am from Barbados :(

Hahahahahahhahaha we were wynding to it im glad that she is in the position to serve her real fans with music that we like. Pffttt work is awesome and we will support it and dance to it.

  • Ashley Springfield

It actually is rihanna. All that pop bullshit was not rihanna. Now she is getting back to her roots and you don’t like it? Lol figure…

  • MsThickHair

We all have those moments sometimes. Well, if her mainstream audience has been paying any attention to her, then I’m sure it won’t throw them off too badly.

  • MsThickHair

She is. I’m British-Jamaican and I can understand every word she said. She’s speaking a relaxed version. Maybe she’s even deviated into a relaxed version of Jamaican Patois. lol Who know’s, but I know that I can understand her. The more I listened to it, the more I understood the underlying/hidden meaning in the lyrics too. When it comes to artists’ creativity, we should have an open mind to at least understand where they’re coming from. It doesn’t mean we have to like it, but at least their would be understanding.

  • MsThickHair

She’s not falling asleep, she’s speaking in and out of a relaxed version of her dialect. The fact that she’s saying she’s working all the time in the song, may be the key as to why it sounded more relaxed as the song went on. Working so much would make one very tired. When it comes to Drake, he’s not the best singer in the world and he’s definitely not the worst. I bet if he had debuted as a singer first and then a rapper, nobody would give him so much negativity about it. It’s not like he’s trying to sing like Chris Brown, MJ, or R. Kelly. lol People just do what they can. It’s okay if you don’t like it though.

  • Michelle Eve

Your comment is silly. How can Rih be singing a relaxed version of Jamaican patois? She is Bajan! You been in the cold too long honey!

  • MsThickHair

You’re comment is even sillier. I know she is; I literally said she’s Bajan in a post above this. lol I was joking when I said she could be speaking a relaxed version of Jamaican patois. Bwahaha! :P

  • Drina

    What’s wrong with singing pop?

  • Drina

Wow! So definate. At least MsThickHair is more opened to being flexible on the discussion.

  • James

The track is so damn terrible, very unlike Rihanna. Her diction construction and everything this time is a big flop.

  • James

How can such a lousy track win such an award like Grammy.? I doubt it…this track sucks.

  • Kris7777

What the hell is this crap? Half of it isn’t even English. What the hell is she even saying? She was probably high and just making up words
