Jefferson Airplane's Signe Toly Anderson Died the Same Day as Paul Kantner

Signe Toly Anderson, one of the original members of the group Jefferson Airplane, died on the same day last week as fellow bandmate Paul Kantner.

The former performer also died at the age of 74 on Thursday (January 28).

Signe was one of the band’s original members, but she left the group after the first record was released and she was replaced by Grace Slick.

Onateska Ladybug Sherwood, Signe‘s daughter, confirmed to New York Daily News that she died last week after “suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.”
