The Lonely Island Guys Talk About Judd Apatow's Full Frontal Scene in 'Popstar'

The Lonely Island‘s Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer take the cover of Billboard‘s new issue in promotion of their film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.

Here’s what the guys had to share:

On Andy being the breakout star of the trio: “Nobody was ever mad about it. We understand the way it works — the way that certain ­opportunities sometimes get given to the person who’s in front…It never created a rift between us….”

On their songs becoming hits: “When one of our songs is a hit, it actually makes it a little funnier…’I'm on a Boat’ is two-times platinum — that’s hilarious.”

On Judd Apatow going full frontal in Popstar: “It’s actually his d*ck in the window of the car…He wanted to show it because he was like, ‘I’ve had this normal but really well-proportioned d*ck my whole life, and I’ve never shown it. And I’m afraid I’m getting older and going to lose the bod soon.’ ”
