One of Kate Mara's Ex-Boyfriends Dented the Giants' Trophy!

Kate Mara‘s family owns the New York Giants and she’s opening up about how one of her ex-boyfriends accidentally dropped the Vince Lombardi trophy and dented it!

The 33-year-old actress, who is currently dating Jamie Bell, revealed that it was a British beau and since the Giants won the Super Bowl in 2008 and 2012, we can narrow it down to one of those years.

Kate was dating Charlie Cox in 2008 and Max Minghella in 2012, so it is either one of those guys!

“I was dating someone a long time ago who came to visit my parents not too long after the Giants won the Super Bowl, and a trophy had just arrived,” Kate said on Conan. “My parents, my mom specifically, was very excited about this. And she said, ‘Would you like to see it? Would you like to hold it?’”

“And so, he was a very enthusiastic man and he put on the gloves and then he went to lift up the trophy, but he lifted it up from the base, which we didn’t know wasn’t connected to the trophy, and it fell. And in slow-motion I saw – he was wearing these steel-toed boots, he was a pretty good soccer player and he kicked his foot up and caught the trophy with his boot and then caught it in his hands,” Kate added. “And he dented, just a tiny part. It never hit the ground though and I look over at my dad who is in the kitchen just watching the whole thing happen and he was like [giving a disapproving look]. And that was the end. We broke up and that was it.”
